thank you so much. its a combination of things. im incontinent and thats frustrating enough but what is a person to do when they are incontinent and cant physically reach their behind to get clean enough and change. thats getting more and more difficult

I believe that nursing home care is best for you at this time!
Think of the relief of your accidents and personal hygiene taken care of by professionals, versus embarassing your family.
Think of the rest and sleep that you, and that your family will get by not thinking of your needs to be cared for in the middle of the night.
Think of the institution being able to feed you what you need to get better, rather than burdening your family with your “special” meals.
My wife’s Dad lives in an asisted care facility, then a care facility for the past few years. He, and his family have had a wonderful experience with both, as his needs have changed.
