Prayers sent to Mary Queen of Angels and Her Angels+
Hello FRiend. I’m praying that you will leave the facility whole, and able to resume a normal life with your young family. Keep up appointments with your doctor on the outside. Take advantage of rehab opportunities. With RA, no pain no gain. Have you tried gluten free diet for your other problems? Keep in touch!
I will be praying for you. Keep us posted.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
I hope you get weller.
I will add you to my prayers.
Sorry to hear about this. Thanks for sharing. God be with you and your family.
And thank you for sharing your situation with us, and don’t feel like you are whining for doing so.
You have done me a great service. I prayed for you just now, and was struck with a very strong sense of gratitude for my own health and the health of my family... something that I have NOT expressed enough gratitude for lately.
Keep up your spirits, and never forget that faith in God is always rewarded. God Bless!
Oh, and on a lighter note my brother “enjoyed” seeing some of the girls that would be giving him a sponge bath were he there! He asked if you could request a certain nurse if he were to check in. They all just shook there heads at him!
After returning from LA, I chose a completely different path and have now worked in a nursing and rehab facility since 2008. Most of the residents are elderly and there are a few younger folks. Get to a rehab facility with people your age - the psychological and social plays into your recovery as much as your physical rehab. You won’t be chained there - you can leave for visits if you want and make sure to find a facility with WiFi. Our place also has free Direct TV and phones. Let them take care you YOU as you get stronger.
We’ll be sure to save a prime position for you in the victory parade on November 7th.
Prayers for you and yours. May God bring you healing, peace and joy.
Prayers for total healing, strength for both you and the family, and peace!
You’re doing the right thing. You’ve got to take care of yourself, so that you are around for all those years your family is going to drive you crazy ;)
Prayer Warriors, PLEASE pray for se_ohio_young_conservative while he goes into the hospital. Pray for his family and his medical team.
se_ohio_young_conservative, if you have net access, and if you wish, please update us? We’re here for you!!
Happens all the time. The wife does this professionally and rehab patients are common. It should help just fine.
Prayers and best wishes go with you that your decision makes you stronger and that you get the help you need.
God bless you....and your family.
Hope that strength and health returns rapidly for you. Also that you can keep up the good fight here and other sites where we fight liberals.
My prayers will follow you through this. Sounds like a rehab facility is just the thing and you will come out of this better for the time spent there. I hope you can keep us posted on how you are doing.
Wow se, what a drag. I was thinking, “I thought he was a YOUNG conservative,” well, 26 is incredibly young. This must be so hard.
It sounds like you put a lot of thought into it. Just do your best with it. We all have our own trials. They don’t define us, but how we handle them does.
I hope you’ll still log on to FR from the convalescent. Prayed for you.
May Jesus be with you and strengthen you, may He comfort your wife and child(ren). Miracles happen!
You’re in my prayers....
Prayers up for this young father.
Sending prayers to you and I hope this will work out for you!
I am older than you..... and have proven to not be as smart as some....
I give to you and your family My souls health, heartfelt and openly.
Draw upon what I have within me, there is no charge, it is all I can give.
Compassion is not my choice, it is my being.... and remember, compassion is not a weakness...
thank you so much
Prayers for you & your health and healing.
You are on my prayer list.
I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. I’m glad you are doing what you need to do to help yourself. It does not matter your age. When you need help, you need help!
God bless you. Let us know how you are doing.
Your will and determination to improve, combined with the great advantage of youth, should give you optimism for your future. Best of everything to you.
God’s many blessings and healing to you and your family. Speedy recovery! Make sure to check in on us when you are able!
If there is a quality Catholic or Lutheran home (Catholic — Providence in your area?) check it out and if you like it — go there.
God bless you and your family as you deal with the rheumatoid arthritis and your other problems.
My prayers are with you.
Step by Step
by Don Sicklesteel
He does not lead me year by year,
Nor even day by day.
But step by step my path unfolds,
As my Lord directs my way.
Tomorrow’s plans I do not know,
I only know the minute,
But He will say, “This is the way,
Just have faith, as you walk in it.”
And I’m glad that it is so,
For today’s enough to bear,
And I know when tomorrow comes,
His grace shall far exceed His care.
Why should I worry then, or fret,
For the God who gave His only Son,
Holds all my moments in His hand,
And gives them to me, one by one.
Prayers for you for a speedy recovery.
I am so sorry and will pray for you. I have seen firsthand how serious RA can be. My thoughts are with you.
You are young person with your whole life in front of you. From reading your bio FR, it is clear you know what it takes to be strong.
God bless you, and help you over this brief speed-bump in your life.
Prayers up for you and your family. Asking God for your rapid recovery and return home with your family ASAP.
Prayers that you will be healed and be able to go home.
Best of luck to you. Hope you’re out and enjoying good health soon.
My most heartfelt prayers for you and for your family.
thank you so much. its a combination of things. im incontinent and thats frustrating enough but what is a person to do when they are incontinent and cant physically reach their behind to get clean enough and change. thats getting more and more difficult
i think im making the right choice
Prayers up for you and a speedy recovery...
I believe that nursing home care is best for you at this time!
Think of the relief of your accidents and personal hygiene taken care of by professionals, versus embarassing your family.
Think of the rest and sleep that you, and that your family will get by not thinking of your needs to be cared for in the middle of the night.
Think of the institution being able to feed you what you need to get better, rather than burdening your family with your “special” meals.
My wife’s Dad lives in an asisted care facility, then a care facility for the past few years. He, and his family have had a wonderful experience with both, as his needs have changed.
Good luck and God bless!
Do whatever you need to do, however you need to do it. Ill health knows no age. Praying that this bump on the road goes quickly and safely.
You have MY prayers...for you family too.
