Saul Alinsky was a brilliant man. Evil, but brilliant. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, everyone on the Left from the President on down is playing by his rules in the political arena. Not all liberals have read his book or know his name, but his tactics have become universal. Sadly for conservatives, when two evenly matched forces go head-to-head outside of a fairy tale, the side that tries to play nice usually ends up with its head in a box. So, don't lie or become an evil person like Alinsky, but learn from what he wrote and give the Left a taste of its own medicine.

Absolutely correct and the only reason I could vote for Romney. It is disgusting but it is what it is.

You cannot beat Alinsky without beating the MSM. Without the MSM, Alinsky is just an author of an Anti-American piece of schlock. We need to take rule 13 and apply it to every liberal commentator out there. And when they start whining like the little girlymen they are, you ramp up the pressure.
I would love to see Conservatives uniting and backing someone who isn’t Romney. If the country’s gonna get back on its feet, we have to present a solid front.

The Haves want to impose socialism on the masses, because they think it will protect them from competition.....Rich people hate competition....that's why they are no friends of Laissez Faire-based market economies.
Anecdotal: I was paying a babysitter so that I could complete my degree at the time of the demonstrations re: Kent. The protestors were preventing us from accessing our classes. One of my instructors was beaten on another campus the previous year. I asked one of the police officers to please shoot them because I had things to do. He smiled and offered his gun to me. I drew back. Those guys didn’t have an easy job.
Fortunately, the prof who had been beaten drove us mercilessly to complete our coursework by midsemester. She knew more demonstrations were coming and didn’t want us to get gypped!
I understand. We have to stand up and unite. the Left is choosing our lives for us. We should be going viral on our votes being counted in Spain. Kick our money laundering Congress you know whats until they do the right thing.

I was going to post this BUT found it had already been posted on FR; however, in my opinion, given our political climate I feel the discussion is more important than and deserves greater exposure than ‘chat’ provides —this should be moved from general chat -history TO news -extended editorial
