I can tell that Freerepublic has started spiraling into hysteria similar to what I sensed around the 2008 election time.... I'll check back in in 2013 to see if things simmered down.

If the past is any indication of the future the GOP will be offer a true conservative for the election coming up in 2108.

There have been very loud disagreements before. This isn’t new. What you’re seeing is fear. Some are nearly hysterical. And it’s only April. The fear is being stoked by the press and the elites. I don’t have TV. More FReepers should turn theirs off. AND the radio. Stop buying the newspaper. I refuse to pay the MSM for propaganda and fear.

You're right about fear and knee jerk, emotional reactions to Jim's clear and clarion messages. He said little new that he hasn't said repeatedly for years. He merely added more and recent examples of Romney's treachery.

You're also right about TV News and radio. FReepers would be better served reading FR. I do. I have stopped watching Fox and all but stopped listening to Rush. (I occasionally hear his show from the kitchen where DrO listens). I am much happier and much better informed.
