I realize it is a progressive channel, but I just wanted to let people know.

No mention of course that it is liberal communist culture which is the real problem of gang violence of cities.

“Current”? Is that Algore’s all-gay-all-the-time network? Or am I getting it mixed up with the other one?

They probably consider the M-1 Garand to be an assault weapon.

What are there like 20 people watching Current TV these days?

Current TV may be dropped by major cable distributor for low ratings.

Currant TV doing a hit piece on guns? Who cares. Your thread has already had more posts than they had viewers today.

I just report what they really mean when they say “assault weapons” and other assorted languages. It’s like an inside look at what their language is really about.

Indeed, they refered to bolt action rifles as they were speaking of assault weapons.

My point was that when a liberal talks about “certain guns”, it means that judges can interprete whatever they want, and that liberals LIE ALL THE TIME. What they mean is any gun.

The reason for this is because liberals are paranoiacs and natural backstabbers. As a result of the chaos in their head, they have given up on caring or maintaining a “healthy pack”, and, thus, they are looking for a leader to do the talking to them, because, if there is none to send them to the controled “Gulag by installments” that Obamacare is, they go crazy.

The reactions of crazies like Loughner or Trayvis are the examples of a liberal ashamed to be such dependent and yet incapable at the time of depending.

This is why they always are viewed as victims, ie. as “poor animals” who would if only we paid them taxes to watch TV in some sort of prison, without any responsabilities or “worries”.

Did you just say that a .308 is a better long distance caliber than a 30-06 or a AK’s 7.62x39?

Now, a Garand with a few en bloc clips of black tips is an assault weapon in my book.....a vest is no match for them.

Unless you’re in the middle of the desert with a 1000 yard clear field of view, range isn’t much of a factor in urban and semi-urban situations. Unless you’re gonna pull a Texas University Bell Tower kind of thing.

Yeah and ran off nearly a thousand rounds yesterday of .308, 200 of 30-06 and 300-400 and about the same of .223.

Muh shoulder is killing me.

I’m going to the gunsmith today and get advice on a whole new stock that reduces recoil. maybe getting old. Don’t remember shooting hurting so much.

And I can’t stand the trigger on on it. that’s getting a match grade installed too.

There are plenty of places in America that aren't urban or semi-urban.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but people can discuss guns without contemplating killing sprees.

I would look into something like an EvoShield shirt before spending big bucks on a stock system.

Gee...thanks for your input, eversomuch. I commented on a comment about Garands, coincidentally, not directed at you.

Do you have anything worthwhile to say other than some lame ass comment about ‘contemplating a killing spree?’......

An AK isn’t a tack driver by any means (unless you have a Valmet version...), but I suspect it is more the people using them than the rifle itself that gives it a reputation for inaccuracy. After all, how much effort and ammo do jihadis put into teaching marksmanship and zeroing their weapons before they go out on to commit their banditry?

Remember, in most cases, if something doesn’t shoot well it is the person, not the weapon. (There ARE exceptions...)

You brought it up don't get all pissy that I called you on it. There is no need to interject that kind of stuff on a discussion like this.

I also mentioned that most of America is neither urban or "semi-urban" (round these parts we call that suburban) which indicates to me that longer range rifles are still better than shorter range rifles.
