The two in GA are in outer-fringe ATL suburbs, in more working class (vs. upscale) areas.

Hmm, I’m kind of surprised that the two stores closing in MD are in very urban, populated areas. But here, in a less densely populated area, the Best Buy is apparently staying.

Is there really a Manteca, CA? What a strange name for a town. I’m pretty sure it means either fat or lard in Spanish.

Looks like some local Wal Marts will be able to raise their electronics prices soon.

The speedway location here is in a terrible spot and totally unneeded. Surprised it hadn’t closed earlier, TBH.

Welcome to the ever-expanding Obama Economy.
This is a fine example of Obamanomics at its best.

They lied and did not pay me a rebate so I could care less if they all close.

Is merchandise being sent to other stores, or will it be closed out?

There's one reason and one reason only that big and small businesses are boarding up their stores.....people are not spending money because we're in an Obama Depression.....only it hasn't sunk in yet because it's gradual.(...one major chain store closes this week, another entire chain goes under two weeks later, half a local strip location with empty stores this week, next month, whole strip empty....)
How many folks are actually looking around their local business community and noting the enormous number of closed stores and shops.....(when they're not watching the Kardashians, or tweeting, of course.....)

IMHO, no loss here. Amazon can beat them hands down. And, they don’t treat you like a thief when trying to exit the store. The ones here in Georgia are noted for virtually frisking the customers on the way out. I wouldn’t buy a damned thing from them.
