Rush Limbaugh has said that the October surprise of 2008 was the ultimate in pre-election boondoggles and chicanery. I mean, what could possibly top it? Anything? Anything at all?
Maybe this. It's the last week of October. Obama is down 10 points to Romney. This calls for desperate measures - the October surprise of all surprises.
Special Bulletin: President Obama has suddenly and unexpectedly fallen into a coma! The whole nation mourns for Moochelle and senior staffers, Malia, Sasha, and Bo. Occupy Wall Streeters have dropped their Molotov cocktails and are holding solemn candlelight vigils. With the president in a coma the seas have started to rise again and people are miraculously finding jobs. One only hears the constant wailing and ululations (the zaghruta ) of the mainstream media. The White House has asked every American for his prayers and vote.
Special Bulletin to the Special Bulletin! The DNC has put Hillary Clinton's name in as proxy for the president in case he doesn't recover from his coma. Pray and Vote for the Obama-Clinton-Biden ticket on November 6th.
Apart from the lunacy it's not that far-fetched. Sharon is still in a coma. He could wake up and what would Netanyahu do? President Wilson had a stroke and was president for another year.
If Obama wins the election then he dramatically 'awakens' from his coma. If he loses he remains comatized in Cartegena and, being the arrogant weasel that he is, never has to congratulate his opponent.
One thing we do know. Never put anything past a committed and desperate progressive socialist.
Well it would scare the crap out of all Americans....once they realized that Joe Biden was in charge.
I think the more realistic plan is Biden has the stroke and Hillary steps in! This is the ideal plan!

It would make more sense for the DemonRat Party to kill Obama. Then they could run Hillary (or God forbid, Michelle), last minute and win back the House on the sympathy vote. Could be the same forces hired hookers to entrap the Secret Service for this reason: So they can put their own guys in, or demoralize the remaining ones so they won’t protect the President. I do believe that the Democrats in Congress are not happy with The One.

Which in a way is even scarier. Biden would try to come across as just a regular blue collar union guy and still ram down the democrat progressive agenda. They can’t help themselves. They created the entitlement society and have to keep feeding it to stay in power.

Nah he couldn’t pull it off. He’s way too much of dufus first of all. Second, he couldn’t do it with a GOP controlled Congress. And third, the GOP wouldn’t be scared of having “raaaaaaaaaaaaaacism” thrown at them every time they criticized him.
Biden thinks we fought the Germans in WWII. He would be a menace as president. We’d probably be nuked within 2 weeks.

The surprise will be that there will be no election in November due to some manufactured crisis or tragedy.
I think you may well be on to something. The Democrats can’t just dump Obama or they lose the all important Black Vote. So a simple assassination would get them a chance to remove the unwanted arrogant puppet—and let them put in Hillary. The say I sees it— Obama is bumped off—Biden is President—he aponts Hillary as VP-—Then he steps down or refuses to run for reasons of health. Hillary picks some westerner (like Gov. of New Mexico) as her VP to take on Romney-Pawlety and beats him. To make sure of a win—the assassination could be blamed on a Tea Party. Rush, Beck, listener who is a fan of Sarah Palin. OR make sure a 3rd Party runs with Ron Paul to split the right wing vote. Lots of folks are starting to dislike Obama. Israel, Iran, etc... That or a good health crisis could sideline the president—Maybe an “accident” in Air Force One.
