Look at the chin whiskers on that rascal! If you don’t want to eat em, you could use the chin whiskers to tie your bread bag shut.
Shrimp = Bait. I was in Mbabane, Swaziland, back in the 80s. I had occasion to cruise by the Charge’s office one Saturday afternoon. Someone from the embassy in Maputo, Mozambique, had sent a crate of Indian Ocean shrimp to the Charge’. I had a look at some of those monsters; they were easily as big as my shoe.
Gee, Michelle, get a grip. Remember the “obesity epidemic”.
Hubby used to raise them in Hawaii, and he says they are good eats.

Most tiger prawns available on the US market are black tiger pawns that originate from prawn farms in Southeast Asia. They usually come raw with shell, cooked, easy peel or in other ready to eat forms. Americans are buying cultured prawns more and more every year because they can be cooked using just about any method you can think of and taste great.
No farmed shrimp for me. I’ll take gulf shrimp any day.
I used to think the same thing about shrimp, lobster and crabs, but you have to remember these were people who would eat anything, if you would eat a grasshopper and a grub you wouldn't hesitate to eat a shrimp:) Probably a big step up, taste wise.
