Today, as our nation kicks off African American History Month, the campaign is launching African Americans for Obama.
When President Obama took the oath of office, our economy was hemorrhaging jobs at a record pace. President Obama inherited a system that allowed a shrinking number of people to get ahead while the rest of us fell behind. But he stopped the bleeding and went to work for our community and our nation. Despite serious challenges, since 2009 restoring our shared values has helped us achieve real progress.

I guess the president is saying it's OK to launch a White Americans for Romney campaign (WAR). The president by proxy is indeed a divider and certainly not a uniter. At least we know where we stand.

I believe they are one and the same. However the trend is to expand the celebration as it started as Negro History Week.

African Americans quickly took up Negro History Week, and by the 1960s, at the height of the Civil Rights Movement, American educators, both white and black, were observing Negro History Week. At the same time, mainstream historians had begun to expand the American historical narrative to include African Americans (as well as women and other previously ignored groups). In 1976, as the US was celebrating its bicentennial, the ASALH expanded the traditional week-long celebration of African-American history to a month, and Black History Month was born.
That same year, President Gerald Ford urged Americans to observe Black History Month, but it was President Carter who officially recognized Black History Month in 1978. With the federal government’s blessing, Black History Month became a regular event in American schools. By the opening decade of the 21st century, however, some were questioning whether Black History Month should be continued, especially after the election of the nation’s first African-American president, Barack Obama, in 2008. For instance, in a 2009 article, commentator Byron Williams suggested that Black History Month had become “trite, stale, and pedestrian rather than informative and thought provoking” and served only to relegate “ the achievements of African Americans to an adjunct status in American history.”
But others continue to argue that the need for Black History Month has not disappeared. Historian Matthew C. Whitaker observed in 2009, “Black History Month, therefore, will never be obsolete. It will always be in our best interest to pause and explore the meaning of freedom through the lived experiences of a people who forced America to be true to its creed and reaffirmed the American dream. Those who would eliminate Black History Month often miss the point.”

I thought we’d been “enjoying” African American History Month for the past 42 or so months.
Personally, I haven’t been enjoying it.
Hopefully your lack of enjoyment may be assuaged in the coming year and developed into full enjoyment once congress is wholly conservative, (or at the very least mostly conservative).
The only reluctance I have that this outcome will occur is that God’s children may not look to Him for the answers but yet again rely on their own wisdom and once again we will be our own worst enemy.

Occupy Wall Street has a target in mind. They just had a huge training session across the country and they named their target. In fact, they trained their mob to go after to the their target.
Who is the target?
It is us.
It is the Tea Party.
They want to silence the Tea Party. Why? Because the Tea Party is effective. The Tea Party represents real America. We are the people who can stop them.
The Occupy mobs want to silence the Tea Party because they are like Maxists everywhere. They cannot stand a dissenting opinion. They do not like people who disagree with them and they know if it is an open debate, real Americans will say we don’t like your ideas.
After all, their ideas gave us such great paradises as the old Soviet Union and North Korea.
Does anyone know what Occupy’s favorite tactic is? It is the “mic check.” If you have not seen it, it is where one of their leaders shouts “Mic check,” then they begin reciting some idiot liberal talking point that makes no sense.
While I never advocate violence, personally I would like to see a large glass of iced tea poured onto the face of someone leading one of those mic checks.
Be ready and be warned, they are coming for the Tea Party. If you are going to a Tea Party event, bring your video camera or your cell phone. Videos not only make great evidence, but if you can engage these people, most of them don’t even know what they are doing. Every now and then, you strike gold with some of the things they say. Some of these things play well on YouTube.
We the people have to stand up and oppose the Occupy mob. They are not real Americans. They love the ideology that has killed a billion people in the last century. They love the ideology that destroys freedom and enslaves billions. Their heroes are Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro. Their heroes read like a list of who’s who of mass murderers.
They are afraid because they know they are going to lose this fall. They know Americans are going to reject socialism and their only option now is to try and use force to silence those who stand for America.
Take a stand today for freedom and liberty. Stand with the Tea Party and with America.
