Did you notice: liberals aren't claiming the "martyrdom" of Osama bin Laden is "creating terrorists"

Posting this in chat, because it is just an observation.

I would love to hear other's opinions.

The years following 9/11, I recall the media and liberals (the same, I know) worry ferociously about whether or not we were "creating more terrorists" by fighting against terrorism.

Remember "enraging the Arab street" and other lines?

I notice that line of thought has been noticeably LACKING in the lapdog media when it covers the current Oval Office occupier's continuation of the BUSH policy...

In other words, no one seems to be concerned that we have turned Osama bin Laden into a "martyr" figure that has made lone wolf terrorists ENRAGED and is creating a new, more dangerous kind of terrorist.....

Doesn't that seem a whole lot different than when the media covered Bush's tenure?

One year ago, I also distinctly remember Barabara Walters, the tired old woman on "The View" talk about how ridiculous it was that ANYONE would challenge Obama for re-election, now that Osama was dead.

The media covers this president differently. He’s liberal, he’s their dream president, they get tingles over him. Since they love him, their views of everything he does is different than if another president, esp. a Republican, did the same thing.

Remember, liberals do not have consistent standards as to how they view issues and situations. If a liberal takes out Bin Laden, then it was a good thing to do. If a conservative/Republican had gotten Bin Laden, then that would revive the debate about creating martyrs and all that.

So, we have to understand, that the media use ever shifting criteria to judge people and situations. Do not look for consistency or logic in their evaulation.

When George W Bush told the terrorists to “bring it on”, Al Shaprton accused Bush of “talking like a gang leader.” Now that Obama is running around bragging about how he killed Bin Laden, I wonder if Sharpton will make the same accusation against Obama. Somehow, I don’t think so.
