The Penneys in my area always seems to be busy but it’s mostly the Mexican population that lives in the nearby town. Their prices have been better lately.
It’s the Sears that is doing really bad here. The store is always dead with low inventory. We went to get a dishwasher recently. I had researched them online and when we saw it at the store we decided to buy but guess what? We couldn’t take one home, they don’t keep any inventory even though it’s a huge store. What gets me about that is they don’t charge delivery to their store but if you want it delivered to your house they will charge you. Also I can’t stand their checkouts. They ask you tons of questions and spend so much time punching buttons on the stupid cash register that by the time I’m done I never want to go back there.
I let him know I was none to pleased with driving all the way to the store to place an order that I could have done online at home.
The didn't get the sale.

Yep. Sears has THE worst point-of-sales system in the entire universe. I actually feel sorry for the clerks who have to try to use it. And the REALLY sad thing? It’s vastly improved from what it was 10 years ago!
