Der Fuhrer isn’t happy with SCOTUS. They better walk softly.
Threatening to hold Medicare hostage?
What a bastard!
Threatening to hold Medicare hostage?
What a bastard!
On the other hand Obama might as well resign the presidency if this is the case. Mitt Romney will walk all over him from pillar to post.
He can’t pull the trick that FDR threatened to pull. FDR had Democrat support in the House, which can pass law that increases the number of judges sitting on the USSC. If he comes strutting into the GOP house asking for that, he’s only going to get hooted at.
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?
” - - - Todays executive order marks a paradigm shift for U.S. regulators by directing them to take the international implications of their work into account in a consistent and comprehensive way, Sean Heather, vice president of the chambers Center for Global Regulatory Cooperation, said in an e-mailed statement.
Thank you Sean Heather. Thank you!
Note to the Supremes and members of Congress:
In case you forgot, multitudes of selfless, red-blooded Americans were killed or maimed to preserve our freedom and heritage - including yours.
And they all have mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers who now have to live without them.
Before you make your next deal with the devil think about that...
Good God Almighty, what will it take to impeach this bastard?
I hope most of the SCOTUS are getting royally angry.
....and the SCOTUS cares because........?
Wouldn’t it be great if even Kagan says she never knew Barack Obama could be such a bastard?
They will laugh and point while Barack Obama completes his suicide by politics.
The day he is thrown out of office can’t come soon enough.
The stakes are so high. Seems like a choice between liberty or slavery. Has it really come down to this?
If 0bama is reelected, we could see the downfall of the U.S.A as a super power. If 0bama is not reelected in a close race, we could see violence in the streets.
Tough choices. Choices have consequences. I chose to prepare as best I can for all contingencies.
The POS would be a fool to cut Medicare payments to physicians before the election. This is something he would do if he wins though.
The answer to your question number two, in my opinion, will be yes, they will bow.
Laz, take it from me, the last thing in the world you want to do is try and tell a judge what or what not to do. They don’t take kindly to someone trying to intimidate them.
Just a wild guess but I’d bet that those 9 justices don’t give a flying fig what Obama thinks. Plus they all probably figure he’s toast after Nov anyway.
With him threatening to do that... it really does look like Barack is bent on the political equivalent of suicide by cop. He wants to go out in a blaze of glory... but go out he will.
What gives one person the power to withhold medicare payments? Or any payments for that matter. This guy just keeps pushing the limits and nobody challenges him.
Only the most bought off slavish sycophant commie would not be getting disgustingly angry with 0bastard by now.
So I think Kagan’s okay with him still....
Perhaps the U.N. is building that additional bunker at the White House to hide him in when our Military comes to remove him from the Oval Office.
Forget impeachment. We can simply "deem" him guilty and tar and feather the SOB.
(I was really thinking hanging but I didn't want my fellow FReepers to accuse me of being too harsh.)
Plague of locusts.
Maybe they are plotting to make him the next Secretary-General.
Some driveway coat and some feathers coming right up....
I have heard it said that those who voted for the sob were deceived and or misled. Don't believe that. At the most, two of those who voted for him were deceived or fooled. The rest voted for him for the freebie he promised the. It worked in 2008. It will work in 2012.
The election wasn’t really a true plebiscite. It was only those who bothered to go vote. McCain was rather underwhelming. So would Romney be, except that most of America is disgusted with Obama this time around.
Oh, don’t I know it. Hell, he keeps it up, he might even lose the judges who might normally go to bat for him.
The raaaacis supremes are going to make old people eat dog food.
Obama is the one who threatens medicare. Death panels are not too hot on the elderly.
Is he allowed to interfere in the court’s business like this? Seems I would not be allowed to contact the court and threaten them with death and destruction if they did not rule as I dictate.
Perhaps one of the more scandalous things about that election was that John McCain was so afraid of the race card that he felt it politically necessary to say “there is no reason to fear a President Obama.” As if this were an election for homecoming queen or something inconsequential. For all of Mitt Romney’s faults, he could not give a fig about the race card. You won’t see Mitt saying that.
Lots of Obama voters from 2008 have buyer’s remorse. I don’t know of a single McCain voter who now wishes he/she had voted for Obama.
I think we can all safely bet that at least two of those Justices care a great deal what Obama thinks.
Q: Does "Obama" have a problem being told "no?"
Don't those justices know that no one says "NO" to Teh Won and gets away with it?
Either way he can play it as he wins it.
They get pissed from all this and strike it down, and he gets to say Vote for me, I’ll fix SCOTUS with upcoming appointments.
They let it stand and he gets to say he got them to do the right thing.
One wonders what would happen if he abolished SCOTUS tomorrow?
Probably nothing, considering how the spineless House and Senate do not have the courage to look into his eligibility.
> Mitt Romney will walk all over him from pillar to post.
Wish this was true, but my experience with establishment Republicans is that they can’t or won’t lead an attack and are always on the defense.
This would be true for Mitt as well, except that he only needs a lukewarm attack to look good. Obama will be wildly lobbing mudballs past Mitt’s head to widespread public derision. Obama is Mitt’s best asset in this race.
Sacrefice of the GOP. The MSM will see to that the Republicans get lynched for pulling a stunt like empechment.
By the time the Senate is GOP enough to deliver a conviction, Barack Obama will be out already. And the House is not going to try without a Senate that would only fight it.
Explain why not a peep about these latest EO’s from any elected Republican?
Yes, 2-3 of them probably agree with Barry on the issues but I doubt any of them fear him. I’m guessing they pay zero attention to his attempts at coercion. Likely he is just annoying them. At least I hope so.
Not gonna happen. Obama’s international support is a mile wide and a half inch deep. He is universally deemed incompetent.
How do we know there aren’t peeps? Boehner saying no, no, no this is lousy is like dog bites man news to the MSM.
No doubt Obama has already received good indications of how the voting on Obamacare is going to go from his two stooges on the Court - if he’s still trying to intimidate them into voting his way, he must be pretty sure they aren’t going to vote his way.......
The Communists here in America know that if Obamacare is struck down they are defeated.
Of which I am eagerly waiting to see the faces of the known Communists lurking in our government.
Most especially Pelousy.
Obama may be making threats but behind the scenes he is most likely structuring a fallback plan, something that will further hobble America like new executive orders that will find ways to drastically cut back meat, mild and wheat products, he will starve America into communistic socialism acceptance.
Its time to hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
