Turns out, Obama is a composite too.

He was tall and darkly handsome, in a chiseled sort of way. Clearly intelligent. Quiet and attentive, yet distant in a way that intrigued her as they both drew closer together during those long evenings sipping cheap wine and practicing sophistication on each other.

Both were new to adulthood, trying out the public personalities each wanted the world to see, not the inner tremors that corroded their intestines during long nights when dark personal fears crept into the corners of their lonely apartments.

Like most others from somewhere else who found themselves living in New York City, they told each other how wonderfully exciting and diverse the filthy place was. One minute you could hear distant gunshots, sirens or witness a mugging in the musty subway. And the next you were in a lovely park watching someone declare their contempt for capitalism's greed by defecating on a car, which is actually much harder than it looks on TV.

he is a POS composite

But how convenient that they “ found” a diary and letters from 30 years ago to bolster his image

such BS
Why has no one in the media asked where these letters have been?

Handsome? Really? He looks like a monkey with huge Dumbo ears . . . I can't stand this kind of BS. Clearly intelligent? Really? Does he have grades to prove it? Where are they?

Boy, I tell ya', if Bush (either one of them) had written an autobiography about themselves and then bull$shitted their way through anything, they'd be called LIARS!

This crap reads like a romance novel. Am I supposed to take this seriously as an insight into Barack Obama?

I do not see the handsome part. But then it is a matter of taste. I also do not see anything in Brad Pitt who just looks like a wimp to me.

He’s a composite of Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, his loopy mother, his POS father, his molesting grandfather, elitism from Punahou, Occidental, Columbia and Harvard and the South Side of Chicago.

So how again does that mess, speak to the average American???

“It was a dark and stormy night....”

The April 2012 Bullyer-Lytton contest has just closed. But I bet Freepers could construct their own “worst openings to a fiction piece” modeled on the San Jose Professor’s annual contest. Want to have some laughs on previous entries go to: Bullwer-Lytton Fiction contest. hilarious.

“It was a dark stormy night; the rain fell in torrents — except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.” — Edward George Bulwer-Lytton, Paul Clifford (1830)

The 2011 winner of the Bulwer-Lytton contest:

Cheryl’s mind turned like the vanes of a wind-powered turbine, chopping her sparrow-like thoughts into bloody pieces that fell onto a growing pile of forgotten memories.

re: “cheryl’s mind turned like the vanes.....”

Could very well be a diary entry from Ms. Cook while commenting on “his” warm sexuality. We’ll wait to see how much more will be revealed of her 25 year old diary.

Would you save any of that “crap” for 25 years? Me neither.

That said'. ..thought it interesting that this has come out; so formatted; and perhaps; to a degree; may well be a composite. Who knows?

(Wondering what Oprah thinks about this 'composite thing'. Remember how she publicly humiliated - raked over 'Winfrey hot coals' - James Frey (A Million Little Pieces) for doing same. Alas; Obama will never be so challenged. Not even to 'authentic' authorship; which is legitimately challenged per creative talents of Bill Ayers; who has, himself; claimed authorship in a few unguarded moments.)

Needless to say; no Lefty has ever been so challenged; or treated so badly by Oprah. Never/ever. . .

No Oprah will not disavow 0dumbo but she won’t be out there on his behalf.
If course she has her own problems

That said if he hadn’t been black she would have NEVER endorsed him. Their ideologies are pretty far apart.
I think she thinks < rightly< that her hard work etc created her empire
and a government had zero to do with it.
I just wish she’d be honest instead of being so race conscious.

Do not know her ideology per specifics. ..but no question, she can claim 'her' financial empire by way of her own hard work. Certainly Obama cannot do that; but suspect that is a 'fact' lost on him entirely.

OTOH; Oprah is probably the only woman Obama has ever been impressed by; and by turn; no question there was not a spark in Oprah's eye, when fixed on Obama.

There were 'sparks' too; between Oprah and Michelle; of a different kind, for sure.

One more think. . .

Would not be surprised that Obama has not 'reached out' to Oprah as he and 'team' did before. After all; her ratings are down. Also, like the old girl friend offered; how Obama would say 'Thank You' when she said she loved him. . .remember, just how badly Oprah was treated later on; (at Michelle's behest/jealosy; but no matter to Obama). . .at Inaururation; it was barely a 'Thank You'.

I would be shcoked if 0dumbo or minions had not reachd out to Oprah
but she early on, maybe in Feb, said she would NOT be campaigning for the POS this time.
she did say of course she supported him
but won’t campaign or maybe even not raise money
I never watched the Oprah program but from what i know of her she is definitely not a cradle to grave proponent.

Yes, remember this; most unfortunate was her saying she still 'supported' Obama. Which brings us back to initial observation of Oprah being too race conscious. . .or not conscious enough (or just honest enough) as the 'case' may be.

Perhaps, seeing Obama with 'white' girl friend; and remembering his friends were 'otherwise' Pakistani; something might 'click' - some truth may fashion itself - or, at least, some honesty re this 'Presidential' matter; but, doubt it.
