I’m not a doctor and wouldn’t even know what to tell you.

Pay attention.

Too much can be fatal.

The amount I heard is one tsp mixed with water morning and eve for a week.
Then, one tsp mixed with water per day for the second and third week.

I recommend you see a physician AND do alot of internet research.

Good luck!

I don’t know about this cancer-study-link but baking soda and water is an age old cure for an upset stomach - a teaspoon in water - but make sure it’s stirred very well - you don’t want to be drinking it grainy, I’ve read it can do harm.

Baking Soda for brushing your teeth is great too and for use as an exfoliant for your skin

Baking soda is a MIRACLE cure on burns. Anytime you burn yourself run it under cold water ..or stick it in the snow..and then keep applying a baking soda paste.

The Amazing Kitchen Therapy - Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate)
Source: Google for sodium bicarbonate and arthritis

Dr. Mark Sircus and Dr. Parhatsathid Nabadalung are the pioneers of sodium bicarbonate therapy. It is the same compound found in most kitchens, reported to cure arthritis, gout, headaches, colds, cancer, protects digestive enzymes in the stomach, balance your body pH and other ailments.

The amazing common kitchen compound – sodium bicarbonate, should not be without. It is key weapons against cancer, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and diabetes.

We are prone to critical diseases such as cancer and heart disease when our body is more acidic. The ideal blood pH is 7.365, according to Dr. Robert o. Young. Both type of bicarbonate are safe and non-toxic. It is used in baking and as a buffering agent in medicine.

The dosage
Your body is the most acidic at night. Taking the sodium bicarbonate at night is the best time. Dr. Parhatsathid recommends taking both sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate, if your urinary pH is below 5.6. How acidic or alkaline a solution is measured by potential of Hydrogen (pH), a scale from 0 to 14 of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution (where 7 is neutral and greater than 7 is alkaline and less than 7 is more acidic). As a rough indication to your urinary pH, use laboratory litmus paper or better still, have a family doctor to measure the pH of the blood, mouth, and urine.

The normal sodium bicarbonate dosage for arthritis, gout or other rheumatic diseases is 1 teaspoon mixed in an 8 oz glass of water twice a day. It is best to take at least one dose before going to bed. The maximum dose one can consume is 3½ teaspoons in a 24 hour period. If your pH is below 5.6, take ½ teaspoon of each sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate mixed in an 8 oz glass of water twice a day, at least once at bedtime. The duration recommended is for 2 weeks period at a time. Then take a 1 week break. Continue the routine until the pain goes away and you are cured.

Does sodium bicarbonate raise blood pressure?
Scientific studies show that sodium bicarbonate does not have any effect on blood pressure.

Does sodium bicarbonate neutralize stomach acid and interferes with digestion?
While it neutralizes acid, it actually protects digestive enzymes in the stomach. Besides, bicarbonate is actually produced in the stomach.

Research conducted by William Beaumont and others, when sodium bicarbonate taken on an empty stomach, and pass right through to the intestinal tract where it begins to do its miraculous work.

We must learn to take responsibility for our own health and don’t just accept this information wholesale. Google your own research with these keywords – sodium bicarbonate and arthritis, you will find a wealth of information.

From the article:

"I recently published about fungal infections, and breast cancer has been found to be associated with increased frequency of mold-fermented cheese consumption."

Well, if that is true, then I surmise that there will be a correlation between a country's cheese consumption and its cancer rate.

A little bit of Googling produced these graphs:

I must admit, I'm not seeing the correlation.

Cheers

I’ve been using baking soda to brush my teeth for the last 45 years. I’ve had one new cavity in that time. At 65 I still have most of my teeth. The worst thing for my teeth is popcorn kernels as I love to crack them.

I keep backing soda by my bed in case I have acid reflux. Wet your finger, dip in baking soda and swallow. Kills the acid on contact.

How about this one.. Scientists Cure Cancer, But No One Takes Notice

Is it for real? Well, an Internet search for, University of Alberta dichloroacetate, turned up a lot of hits and the couple I looked at confirmed the article. But no one is saying that this is THE cure yet.

If you’re having fungal problems, you almost certainly have chronic high blood glucose. You have to conquer that problem to beat the fungi.

The problem is use of polyunsaturated oils over a prolonged period, mostly. You have to literally grow new cells that can metabolize the glucose, by totally stopping the use of the poly oils, and using flax, coconut, and Alaskan salmon oils primarily.

The best way is the “Budwig formula,” which is simply thoroughly blended flax oil and whole milk cottage cheese. I use hot salsa blended in to the mix, which makes it more effective, and tastes more lively. Four or five full table spoons of cottage cheese, and two table spoons of flax oil, or all you can get to mix in with a hand held blender, then add the salsa and blend it in too.

I had toenail fungus taking over my large toes and couldn’t beat it by any other way, but after 6 months on the above mix it began to clear up. I plan to continue it for the rest of my life.

The cancer clinics in Baja California cure cancer routinely, and dependably without weird chemicals or drugs, mostly through proper diet.

Some have proprietary treatment formulas, but nothing that could in any way threaten your health and life like “conventional” cancer treatments do.

Baking soda makes a wonderful and gentle scrub in place of nasty cleansers. It really cleans stainless steal, silver and other metals. If it doesn't come off right away, let it soak. A burner can be slightly heated to accelerate the scrubbing ability. Cleans my glass top burner and toilets.

That being said, germs, fungus, cancers, and diseases in general like a certain PH to survive. Change it and they can die. Baking soda changes it. I take baking soda if a cold or flue seems to be coming on and the next day I have a sore throat from detoxifying but am not otherwise sick.

I use baking soda in quantity for cleaning jobs so I buy a big bag of it I find in the pool isle of the local store.

Also, if anyone wants to use baking soda as a cure or in food, they should buy non aluminum baking soda. the blog is not by anyone with training in science:I hold the honorary title of doctor of Oriental medicine and was one of the first nationally certified acupuncturists in the United States over 20 years ago.

he isn't a doctor, and he's not even trained in "oriental medicine", because he only claims an "honorary degree" and doesn't bother to note what college gave him that degree.

science based medicine blog notes that this is one of the many quackery articles on Huffpost, and that the cancer is destroyed by injecting the bicarb into the cancer.

well, if you inject an irritating substance into a cancer or even into normal tissue, it will die. But it won't "cure" the cancer: It will only leave you with a big hole filled with dead tissue. You could do the same thing by freezing it or taking it out or by injecting drano for that matter. Bicarb burns the tissue.

But it won't stop the cancer per se since the problem is not the tumor, but the spreading tendencies. Even if you remove a cancer, you have to remove surrounding tissue, or treat it with radiation or chemo to get the stray cells nearby.

So the Italian quack injection of bicarb is nonsense.

The link to the Arizona study is also very theoreticallink where they acidify mice by giving them oral bicarb and claim it changes the acidic nature of the tumor.

...but if you read the whole thing it doesn't cut down the number of cancer cells or the spread of cancer cells, and then they say this strange thing:. NaHCO(3) therapy also reduced the rate of lymph node involvement, yet did not affect the levels of circulating tumor cells, suggesting that reduced organ metastases were not due to increased intravasation. In contrast, NaHCO(3) therapy significantly reduced the formation of hepatic metastases following intrasplenic injection, suggesting that it did inhibit extravasation and colonization

uh, if you inject naHCO2 into the splenic vein, you will end up with a necrotic spleen...and it doesn't explain why it stops the spread to the liver. Of course, we already know the problem of injecting NaHCO3 into the liver: you get dead liver tissue.

So a very early study on mice is now touted as a cure, which is not what they found...and it's on hundreds of "alternative" medical sites.

Like other quackery, one worries on how many people will die because of this exaggeration.

true. I have little problem with local use of bicarb,

The problem is that humans also need a certain PH to survive.

We docs use bicarb for diabetic acidosis, and in our dialysis patients to counteract their renal acidosis

But sodium bicarb has a lot of sodium in it, and in the good old days, we saw a lot of people with pulmonary edema or congestive failure from taking too much sodium because they took bicarb for their "heartburn"...

My Grandma took baking soda for years because she had a bad ulcer, but she didn’t get pulmonary edema or congestive failure from it. Not to say that others might not. Interestingly she was cured of her ulcer after an insurance man told her about taking alfalfa tablets for it. Years and years of suffering with a bad ulcer gone because of alfalfa. Several times in my life when an ulcer took hold on me, it went away with alfalfa. There really are cures that doctors know nothing about because doctors are schooled in medication and surgical solutions, not natural cures.

Like other quackery, one worries on how many people will die because of this exaggeration.

If you haven't noticed, western medicine is killing people at such an alarming rate that people are actually daring to presume they can study medical concepts on their own, and read up on other physicians findings, and apply treatments to themselves.

And all of this without going through certified approval from someone such as your highness.

Shocking, isn't it?

Maybe you should lobby with other certified professionals to have such people destroyed by police powers, before they hurt themselves.

Seeing as your only concern is their well being, of course.

From quacks - who are, by definition, described as "not you."

"You" meaning certified professionals who know how to summarize all pertinant findings about a subject, and leave out all irrelevencies, having to do with saving lives, as you did in your completely honest post.

Yeah.

Sure.

Because no one who you haven't certified knows how to critique your position.

By definition.

The poor dear was beside herself cause she couldn’t afford it and I volunteered to help her. I used baking soda and about 12 scrub brushes for three days. Told her to hire a painter and I made him use a zinc based marine paint. The price? About $40.00 (plus the painter) and a case of beer or two for my labor.

The problem is that humans also need a certain PH to survive.

Do you know if it is true that many people's PH is often a little off because of the processed diets most people eat? Aren't most people's PHs a little too acid, not necessarily out of the range of normal, but close to the too acid range, so that they could benefit from a little bit of an alkalizing factor? I have heard it postulated that a slightly high acidity over a long time can be disease promoting.
