My Grandma took baking soda for years because she had a bad ulcer, but she didn’t get pulmonary edema or congestive failure from it. Not to say that others might not. Interestingly she was cured of her ulcer after an insurance man told her about taking alfalfa tablets for it. Years and years of suffering with a bad ulcer gone because of alfalfa. Several times in my life when an ulcer took hold on me, it went away with alfalfa. There really are cures that doctors know nothing about because doctors are schooled in medication and surgical solutions, not natural cures.
