The best/worst part is listening to the incoherent hate speech gurgling out of the local Demwits’ throats re: Snyder, who was an (unknown) successful businessman before and a cause for suspicion during the primary, during which he cleaned the clocks of the well-known career pols. He’s sort of an Ahnold-style eclectic Republican, but with actual administrative experience, plus he has a Pubbie legislature (which Ahnold never had, if memory serves).
He should definitely step down now. All he’s doing is giving hope to the Obama forces that they can win.

My sleeper is Kasich. Fiscally sound conservative, but again, white male, minority or female a pragmatic choice. Rubio a bit of a pandering choice, though I like him. I don’t think Condi would take it. I always like JC Watts but baggage and not in key state.

He will pick a conservative. Maybe a woman? the Governor of Arizona? North Carolina? Maybe Perry of Texas, It will be someone from the west or south. I can say who it will not be— Christie (from New England State), Cain (Too much baggage) Newt (Too much baggage) Santorum —(Will not help) Huntsman (A Mormon—he needs no help there) Palin (Too Toxic—she’s old hat) Jindal (Hasn’t held up well) Maybe Haile Barber of Mississippi?
