I thought Will was awesome, perfect gentlemanly slap, and the appropriate amount of shoulder-shrugging “WTF?” He was obviously ticked off and caught by surprise, but handled it with total class.

And I wouldn’t have blamed him one bit if he had dropped him. Of course Hollywood would have instantly called his career “over” due to the “homophobic hate-crime assault”. Although this type of nonsense does go on at times. My former Pastor once told the story about a new male visitor to the church who went around kissing everyone- men and women- on the cheek as he introduced himself to them. The man claimed he was giving everyone “The Holy Kiss”, however after a warning from the Pastor that this type of behavior wouldn’t be considered acceptable the man left and never returned.
I don’t really care for Will Smith, but I think he handled the situation just fine!
