McCain Camp Didn’t Vet Obama; Palin Thought That Was a Mistake

Sean Hannity hosted a panel on his show last night, to discuss Barack Obama’s history, in his “own words.” Stephen K. Bannon was a member of that panel, and reminded viewers (around the 3:30 mark) that the McCain campaign failed to vet Obama during the 2008 presidential election.

The decision to not vet the current president in 2008 by Steve Schmidt and other incompetent individuals within the McCain camp, played a role in outcome in that race. Governor Palin knew the American people deserved to know the facts about Obama’s history and associations. Schmidt & Co. simply wouldn’t allow it, and the result is the current failed leadership.

Four years down the drain, like we could afford it.

“Four years down the drain, like we could afford it.”

I agree entirely. It was McCain's responsibility as an American to vet Obama. McCain did not put the best interests of the United States of America foremost. I give him all due credit for serving America in war, and or going through what he did in a prison camp, but that does not change the fact that he did not act in the best interests of America when he decided that it was more important to appear ‘reasonable’ and ‘bipartisan’ than to find out the truth about someone who was vying for control over an entire branch of American government. He acted irresponsibly, in my opinion.

I don’t think McCain really intended to win the presidency...he sure didn’t campaign like he did.

I agree...McCain saw himself as a nominee-placeholder...the black man was to bail out the crooks on Wall Street and save the unions in Detroit. McCain’s job was to run and lose. He did that very well.

It’s because McCain was born in PANAMA, and he didn’t want to be excluded either. Just respecting the sleeping dogs...never awaken them.

I think he didn’t vet Obama because he already knew.

During the later stages of his campaign, McCain publicly stated that Obama would be a good President. We now know he stated that without ever vetting Obama.

I wouldn't be surprised if his token candidacy was yet another of Soros' machinations.

“Duh”.

McCain was the single, WORST candidate the GOP could have possibly run.

The. Worst.

This is like the story of my Great Granda and Grandma. They died together like this and loved one another every day. She went to heaven first and he went three hours after her. My grandparents were similar but it took Grandpa a year to get out after she left. That was a sad year for him and all the family who loved him and tried to make it easier on him.

You can not beat family love like this and you can only get it by sticking together through the good times and the hard times.

Either we have a constitution and it means something or we don’t. I think the elite have decided we don’t.

Well, I was responding to what was written to me. It is about vetting Mittens. The comment was that Mitten’s daddy was Mexican so the question arises whether or not we should be addressing this about him. In other words, the GOP is not vetting their own candidate like they did not vet Obama.
It’s a tad of a detour. :)

Yet, Obama agreed and signed his name to the NBC DEFINITION in SR 511 agreed upon through common sense and history by Chertoff, Shrillary, the ever popular “lets do away with NBC” McCaskill, etc. of TWO US CITIZEN PARENTS.
