The left has a very long history of hiding the truth, if it goes against their ideals, no matter how horrific. The best examples include how the Soviet Union would "remove" people, like Trotsky, from photos, once declared an enemy of the "people."

And while on the subject of the Soviet Union, how could anyone forget Walter Durante, of the New York Times, writing about how wonderful like was under Stalin, while Stalin was systematically starving some 50 million people to death. To this day, the NY Slimes refuses to refute Durante's writing, or return the Pulitzer Prize Durante "won."

The NRA's Wayne LaPierre put it very well when he said that Clinton (i.e. leftists) are willing to accept a certain level of killing to advance his political agenda.

Most recently the Obama regime poo-poo'd the slaughter and enslavement of Christians by muslims in Sudan, by claiming it was all about land. Hey, no different than the palis against the Jews!

But I suspect many people answer poll questions this way, so that should be assumed in analyzing the results, correct?

But I suspect many people answer poll questions this way, so that should be assumed in analyzing the results, correct?...I guess, but it seems to me you'd have to accept that both sides in the poll were fudging, which might balance each other out - or maybe you'd have to apply a weighted correction factor to filter out the assumed bias - anyway the post was referring to, and what I was objecting to, was the way some events are hidden or minimized to keep the left's opposition from gaining arguing points, which would seem to hinder lefties from actually understanding what was really going on and coming up with effective policies for dealing with reality - I've heard the argument that "we don't want to give the other side ammunition" in issues from racial attacks to botched abortions - sad.......
