BOSTON -- Harvard University alumni attending their 50th class reunion this week are getting updates on classmates, but one person stands out among those sharing news about career moves, retirements and grandkids: Unabomber Ted Kaczynski.
Kaczynski graduated in 1962 and is locked up in the federal Supermax prison in Colorado for killing three people and injuring 23 during a nationwide bombing spree between 1978 and 1995. In an alumni directory, he lists his occupation as "prisoner" and says his awards are "Eight life sentences, issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, 1998."

Distressing to know he has access to mail.
Obama and Ted sure have made Harvard proud.
Maybe Notre Dame will confer the honorary JD degree upon the Unibomber, just to catch up.
Going to be trouble for Haaavaaardd. Isn’t Ted 1/32 either Sioux or Figarwe?
harvard - unabomber, Obama, Warren, Barney Frank talking to the grads.......”HARVARD - WHERE LIARS, THIEVES AND MURDERERS COME TO MEET AND GREET!”
HA HA HA What a coup for Mr. K. Doesn’t anyone proofread the entries.
His presence will be missed by his beloved classmates. LMAO!
To wit, other Crimson grads; Romney, JF Kennedy, John & John Q Adams, TR Roosevelt, GW Bush, & Matt Damon. :)
In a just world, their top 50 would be populated with many more prisoners
listing awards as “eight life sentences”
A psychotic nutjob with a sense of humor.
Well at least he had short hair when he was in school...
That counts for something anyway...
He must have been a regular bloke...
He IS a grad of Harvard, isn’t he? What about his rights? In many ways he is representative of many of their grads.
>>Haaavaaardd<<
There’s no *r* in Haaavaaaadd. :D
[I park the car in Harvard Yard or as pronounced in the Boston accent I pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd.]
So he gets those pesky alumni hit ups for money in the big house too?
Sine he is unrepentant...I think he is pulling someone’s chain. The survivors of his victims must be livid.
Yeah
Willard Mitt Romney’s alma mater...
LOL...amazing huh?
"One of the most widespread manifestations of the craziness of our world is leftism..."
"Many leftists have an intense identification with the problems of groups that have an image of being weak (women), defeated (American Indians), repellent (homosexuals), or otherwise inferior. The leftists themselves feel that these groups are inferior. They would never admit it to themselves that they have such feelings, but it is precisely because they do see these groups as inferior that they identify with their problems. (We do not suggest that women, Indians, etc., ARE inferior; we are only making a point about leftist psychology)."
"Feminists are desperately anxious to prove that women are as strong as capable as men. Clearly they are nagged by a fear that women may NOT be as strong and as capable as men."
"Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. They hate America, they hate Western civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he GRUDGINGLY admits that they exist; whereas he ENTHUSIASTICALLY points out (and often greatly exaggerates) these faults where they appear in Western civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist's real motive for hating America and the West. He hates America and the West because they are strong and successful."
There are quite a few more passages beyond those that would probably resound with most conservatives. Now, I'm in no way, shape or form defending or lionizing Kaczynski. I'm simply making the case that those on our side who enjoy pointing to him as a typical enviro-leftist based on some quotes from his manifesto, need to be careful about making that generality because there's ample material in there that could be hung around the necks of the right.
The guy was a lunatic, and IMHO, should have received the needle. The right would do well to ignore him and avoid pointing him out as a distinct creature of the left.
This brings to mind the great SNL “Ted Kaczynski Class Reunion”

Classic.
I dont care what they say,,thats funny right there.
The lens of perception and who is feeding the info and for what reason is noteworthy:

**allows humans to go on believing in whatever theory of causation that suits their prejudices and interests--whether it be demons, chemicals, sugar, TV, secularism, or "spoiling the child with too much love and attention".....**
QUIZ:
Did Al Gore say it? Or was it the Unabomber?
It may be more difficult to decide than you think.

Except that we're not bombing innocent people. Note that even the Father of Lies often repeats true statements &emdash; when it suits him, that is. The thing that defines a liar is that he will lie when it suits him, too.
I don't want to fry Kaczynski for what he believes. I want to fry him for what he did.
And if you read my post, I think he deserves the needle for what he did. My point (once again) is that it while it may be fun and cute for those of us on the right to pick and choose parts of his manifesto that can be easily associated with the left, particularly much of the environmental movement it's not particularly prudent or effective to do so, because his manifesto can be cherry picked for passages that would make him sound like an ardent conservative...particularly his diatribe against political correctness.
He's a psycopath, and the only real "guilt by association" that can and should be played with him is with other psychopaths.
Ha!
