I took a quick look at impimp’s posting history, and it looked to me that contraception is one of his big concerns, one that he posts on a lot over the years.
It hardly seems shocking that occasionally a Catholic would focus on a pretty primary Catholic issue.
I’m not interested a lot in a thread like this and not thrilled with the hostile tone that he uses on his topic of fairly narrow interest, but I don’t think that he is faking it.

Actually he’s correct. the psychology of contraception is consistent and foundational for acceptance of abortion. If it’s ok to prevent a child at stage X then why is it not ok at stage Y? it’s a classic slippery slope. The same sort of slope that soft porn to hard porn is...

That might apply to contraception methods that work post fertilization, but certainly not to those that prevent fertilization such as condoms. Sperm die by the millions daily in fertile males, with or without ejaculation.

If you don’t like those reasons then how about economics and a thought experiment -
1. two societies initially of equal size
2. one embraces contraception while the other does not
3. over 7 generations which generation will envelope the other
