Soo! This guy chewed off another guys face because of "Bath Salts"?
"Calgon Bouquet" could become a deadly weapon? I don't think so but I do think it is a political control event.
The “bath salts” mentioned as a drug were marketed before being made illegal in some states. As for the face eater, here’s another story about that from the UK.
But drugs for sure. Here’s a link to another case.
Hackensack man stabs self, accused of throwing intestines at police
I still have my doubts on this story, bath salts are synthetic THC which acts like weed but with the ability for you to overdose quite quickly.
This is being described as PCP, which is nothing like THC.
Why not? Lots of household chemicals can be dangerous if misused. And what is a “political control event”?
“Bath Salts” are something different than what you are thinking. It’s a street name for a new(ish) kind of drug. Go check wikipedia or sumptin’.
BTW, the man whose face was eaten was homeless.
Makes no difference what it is. The DEA has been on this for a while and now is their “magic moment” to use their authority to take away your liberty and the public will eat it up! (pun intended)
As I understand it, this stuff isn’t actually “Bath Salts.” It’s a mixture of chemicals sold under the name intended as a recreational drug.
No idea why Drudge gave a siren for this story.
9Coming to a schoolyard near you:
I said in another post that a student of mine’s father died because of these “bath salts” (in other words designer drugs mislabeled so the government wouldn’t ban them).
They found the guy (60 something) naked in the middle of a field. Went to a teacher/parent conference with the guy before he died about his son taking oxycontin. Apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree.
Now he's just another nameless, faceless, homeless man...
Probably to dredge up new info from Miamians since nothing we don’t know is coming from LEO.
These aren’t the kind you get from Bed,Bath, and Beyond. They seriously mess you up....friend that worked in the ER said people abuse them they make you crazy and hallucinate for days. BAD BAD STUFF!
>>I still have my doubts on this story, bath salts are synthetic THC which acts like weed but with the ability for you to overdose quite quickly.

Nope. Synthetic THC is JWH, which were synthesized in Clemson University, of which there are many (Marijuana has many variant compounds that hit the mind at once) different types. JWH’s are one single compound out of the many in THC.
“Bath Salts” are more like cocaine/meth. MDPV is a kind of like “meth crack.” It’s the effects of meth X 10. It’s a designer drug that people hopefully take in very small doses because a large dose will not only make you super paranoid, but also rack you with pain.
Is PCP the same as acid? Sorry I don’t use drugs so don’t know the difference.
Someone said this was a new form of acid or a new form of the bath salts.
Also have been told that some bath salts mimic cocaine. Not sure don’t use it.
Or maybe DXM which is Robitussin DM with a splash of soda, like Trayvon’s favorite; Watermelon juice (and it wasn’t tea).
BAD stuff. Illegal in Pennsylvania. Nasty reactions.
When asked about the danger level of this drug a medical expert said “Take all the worst side effects of pot, liquor, LSD, PCP, Cocaine, and Crystal Meth and put them all in one drug. That's Bath Salts.”
Yeah, and he was preyed upon by a poor,diet-challenged man....
Me neither. I guess you could abuse Drano but watch what comes from it. Your liberty will be diminished. guaranteed!
Bath Salts affects my brain
Feels like I’m goin insane
Strip naked get out this place
Excuse me while I eat your face
To some of us,Memorial Day is very personal.
J123, I see your thread got pulled. Hm
Does he look like obama?
If Obama had a father, he’d look like him...
No one in the media is willing to see if there was a tie between this crime, committed by a black male, and the weekend “urban music festival” in Miami Beach, a STONE’S THROW from the causeway where this happened.
Was this guy at the festival? Did he buy any drugs there? Maybe he did, maybe not...but NO ONE in the media is asking.
All the Miami media can do is pretend “only” 228 arrests over the weekend is an improvement and shows just how civilized the “urban music” crowd is...
Is this why my wife can never find Calgon English Garden bath oil beads in the stores?
If she has even asked for them the DEA probably has your phone tapped.
No one in the media is willing to see if there was a tie between this crime, committed by a black male, and the weekend urban music festival in Miami Beach, a STONES THROW from the causeway where this happened.
The common element of the drug is users found dead (or behaving horrifically) naked, trying to cool off their abdomens.
We’ve invented the trial-tested Anti-Human drug and no doubt the possibility of weaponizing it is the reason for burying the story.
"Acid" is lysergic acid diethylamide, usually the variant "25", which is derived from naturally occurring mold called 'ergot' on the grain rye. CIA experiments dating from the 1950s have demonstrated quite thoroughly that the use of LSD-25 (or many of its variants) can induce either pleasant hallucinations or a marked state of paranoia, or some gradation in between. Chemically impure LSD-25 is EXTREMELY dangerous and has been proven to be fatal many times, perhaps most infamously at the Woodstock concert, where even the PA announcers repeated the message "Don't eat the brown acid!" (one possible preparation)
Hope this is of some use to you, easily verified by any competent chemist, and FReegards!
Why can’t folks just drink beer?
Yep, I believe it. I work as an RN in a hospital that serves as as the “county” hospital in our city. We basically get all the traumas and indigents and arrested folks suffering form acute incarceritis (meaning now that they’re under arrest they suddenly have chest pain). We have also had a few bath salt users. One was quite memorable. I couldn’t believe how much it took to put this man down, and I’ve seen a whole lot of crazy having worked in psych and then in emergency room. I can’t even say what this guy did because it’s unprintable. I’ll just say he was completely naked and did things that he will (hopefully) regret the rest of his life. He was way stronger than he should have been, and did not self-protect (didn’t hold back to prevent himself from getting harmed). He acted as if he didn’t even see, hear or feel us at any point, and he simply went from that to asleep after way more drugs than we would use for a moderate sedation to reduce a broken or dislocated limb. Bath Salts are crazy stuff, folks. After seeing what I’ve seen, as soon as I heard about the “zombie attack” my first suspicion was bath salts.
It’s not actually something one would use for bathing, that’s just a name, possibly related to how it’s sold online to evade regulation. While it’s compared to LSD, it affects people more like PCP in that they are strong and feel nothing and can’t be controlled except with extreme measures.
I’m not proud of it but I have tried a few of these bath salts in the past. I’ve read the horror stories of people losing control and acting violent. While they may be chemically similar to meth, the high is nothing like it.
It’s more like ecstasy, all you really do is sit there smoking cigarettes and watching you-tube videos.
It does eliminate the need to sleep and eat, so maybe the people who lose their minds on the stuff have been up doing it for days or mixing it with other narcotics.
But I do know some people react differently to drugs.
I think a lot of the publicity it has gotten is similar to the LSD propaganda in the 60’s/70’s,e.g staring at the sun till blind, babysitters putting babies in the oven
No. PCP is animal tranquilizer, and it has a different effect on humans, often making them agitated or violent with continued use.
Acid (LSD) is an halucinogenic, which alters the user's perception of reality, but can produce behaviour anywhere from euphoric to violent, depending on the person, their mood, circumstances, and events (lots of variables).
I don't use drugs, either, but since I joined the Army, I've learned more about drugs than I ever wanted to know (the Army wants us to recognize signs of drug use). Anyway, PCP is phenylcyclopiperidine (or phencyclidine) and acid is lysergic acid diethanolamine; they are very different drugs with different mechanisms of action. Bath salts is a new drug. Another new drug, a form of synthetic marijuana, is called spice or K2. So far, spice is still legal. I don't expect it to remain that way for long.
Oh crap, you’re terrible!
Oh crap, you’re terrible!
Taking drugs for recreation seems to be a dangerous past time. Look at the problems thought to be caused by long term use of the latest teen sensation “lean”, typically a mixture of Arizona Iced Tea Co. watermelon fruit juice cocktail, Skittles, and Robitussin DM or other cough syrups. There are a number of recipes involved. It sounds relatively harmless but people have overdosed and died, and long term use seems to be associated with paranoid and violent behavior.
I know that drunk drivers kill themselves and others while DUI...but driving drunk is already a crime and people go to jail for it...
but drugs?....drugs can affect everybody differently....
we must stop acting like drugs are just like alcohol...nothing like it....
until as a population, we starting getting a little more God fearing and God loving, and live moral lives, and that means not self medicating ourselves into oblivion, then we're just a huge boulder rolling downhill...
Oh yeah! Gimmie some of that!
