FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

At first I thought the title had the words, ‘surgery sodas’ in it. Didn’t sound right for some reason.

Wake up folks, this is ALL ABOUT MONEY as it always is when government is involved.

No large drinks allowed?

Then buy two or more smaller drinks and pay more TAXES.

I read the comments on the NYT article. I was amazed (not in a good way) at how many people were willing to just hand over their lives to the Nanny State. Do these morons not realize that once the Government is done regulating all the stuff they don’t like, they will be coming for their stuff next? It isn’t about health, it’s about control and control only.

“No large drinks allowed?

Why buy 2 when most places offer free refills?

Wrong kind of drink. What you're thinking of is what people drink after they've taken 'bath salts' and eaten someone's face off.

They wash it down with a tasty surgery soda.

It looks like the 10 clerical workers in the mayor’s office assigned to voting “yes” got tired and went home.

It’s hard work pretending to like a moron.

I don’t think Bloomberg cares about public opinion. He thinks a friendly reminder will benefit everyone. He wants sugar guzzlers to make an educated decision. But what about alcohol drinkers are free to order pitchers of beer, wine sangria, but no pitchers of Coke, Pepsi, 7-UP at a kids party..
