I propound that Romney really wants to be president. He is not some amateur cowering in fear of Obama. The game was on from coast to coast, yesterday! I am sure I heard the sound of wallets opening.

Bill Clinton always liked a girl who was propound.

I am sure Obama was thrilled to hear Bill propound that Romney was qualified to be president.

Billy Jeff kicks BarryO in the nuts.

President Bill Clinton veered sharply off message Thursday, telling CNN that Mitt Romney's business record at Bain Capital was "sterling." "I don't think that we ought to get into the position where we say 'This is bad work. This is good work,'" Clinton said. "The man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold."

After Obama, the bar has been set pretty low.

GMTA I keep replaying that scene from The Amateur, where Bill is telling Hillary the poll numbers for a possible second primary run against Obama. Too funny. Despite Obama keeping Hillary safely in the Sec position, Bill is a loose cannon.

Because my 98 year old mom fell and broke her hip and is in rehab in CA. I need to go out there to take care of business and provide for her care. What to do about the Wisconsin ping list, since I won't have access to the Internet very often. So, I propounded to members of the list that I would need a fill in for 10 days. Nine members responded and will be pinging folks on a rorating basis starting tomorrow. Members of FreeRepublic are the greatest.

I went to a meeting last night for parents of kids entering the middle school this fall. A nice young man meets me at the door and says “I’m so and so, the principal.”

The only thing I could say was “Really?”

He looked like the kid who they had come in to set up the projector.

OK, not that young, but he looked in his 20s. Not what I was expecting.

Here’s something new I propound
Barack’s economics are sound
By “sound” I mean “noise”
But he lies with such poise
Good thing teleprompter’s around

Good luck with that. 98 years old and a broken hip is not good.

My mom is in rehab now with a new knee, but she’s “only” in her 70s.

I’m sure she will feel more excitement and worry as we get to the end of August. Right now both her and her mother are at home with strep throat. So she’s missing her last week of school. She can put an appearance in on Monday for the last, truncated day.

We voted the first day we were eligible. Our ballots arrived by mail, and we returned them in person — not trusting the mail with such important papers! There were a dox=zen people already waiting to vote in person at our little City Hall.

Speaking in front of Solyndra yesterday was a brilliant move, pointing out that people would need to be bussed in since no one worked there anymore. This action propounds high hopes for the GOP. Take it to ‘em!
