Looks to me like the poor thing was sleepy, and the caterwauling was keeping it awake.

But the kitten perked up as if to say ‘Where goed da musik’ when she finished paying and singing.

When my cats do stuff like like this I always wonder if they are thinking “Wow this is really great stuff” OR “For the love of Pete, will it never end?”... lol, cute kitty anyhow...

When kittens sit still, they fall asleep. But that one seemed to be struggling to stay awake and be a good audience. Polite kittie.

The kitten was furiously blinking eyes (cat kissing) to the ukelele player and probably wondering when and where the human’s affection would be given the kitty in return. The heck with the song. Snuggle the kittie.

Ironic that “caterwauling” refers to the vocalizations of a cat...

The kitty cat is darling.

It could be, though, the noise is bothering its hearing.

Kitty cats don’t like ear-piercing loud noises, especially high pitched noises.

I was watching a kitten playing in the dirt today.

It seemed to be ping-ponging something in its front claws.

Then the kitten gave out a yelp.

It seemed like the poor kitten was saying "I lost my bug that I caught."

It actually started to dig in the ground after it...

You never know, bugs can be a fun toy to play with in the dirt!
