Romney has given us reasons to vote against Obama, but what are his reasons to vote for him?

You keep bring up the Supreme Court appointments, but there is scant evidence that Romney appointments will be conservative.

You are absolutely correct!! Maybe Romney's appointee's will be conservative. Maybe they will be moderate. Maybe they will be liberal. He was quoted as applauding the appts of Alito and Roberts and said the appts of Sotomayor and Kagen were "troubling". But the fact is, we **don't know** for sure. However, there is an entirely plausible chance for any Romney SCOTUS appointee to be *well* to the right of Sotomayor and Kagen and that's a chance I'll take.

With Obama, there is absolutely *NO* doubt as he has already demonstrated the liberal, lesbian, politically-correct (whatever they are) justices he prefers to appoint -- and brother, those appointments are for *LIFE*.

This is also why it is important for the (R)'s to lead in congress due to their role in the matter, which can further constrain Romney. If you just can't muster the grit to vote for president, at least vote down-ticket to help defeat dems in congress.

But either way, if you have a better alternative to the GOP option for President, state it and I'll get behind your more viable, leading candidate. Otherwise, the "Capt. Obvious" routine is a waste of bandwidth. Ya'll aren't telling us anything about Romney that isn't already widely known on FR.

It's time to lead, follow or get out of the way. Choose one.

Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong about Romney.

So, I hope you are right and I am wrong.

So YOU want everyone to IGNORE what Mr. RomneyCARE has already done about Judges.

No Capt. Obvious, what I'm *NOT* ignoring -- what I'm focused upon, is Obama's proven, demonstrated preference of appointing liberal, lesbian, politically-correct, "living-constitution" justices like Sotomayor and Kagen.

I repeat: We are already aware that Romney is a RINO. You are preaching to the choir. Brother, I don't know how to make it any clearer: You aren't telling us anything that hasn't already been posted a hundred times over.

What you are pathetically failing to do is state your "better alternative". The GOP candidate is the most viable, leading candidate opposing Obama -- regardless of whether you think he can win or not, he's ahead of everyone else.

NOW PAY ATTENTION: If you have a better alternative, state it. Put up or shut up. Time to put on your "big-boy" pants and make your case like an adult. If you have a better alternative that stands a better chance of defeating Obama, just spit it out. Convince me that "your guy" is who I need to vote for to defeat Obama and I'll gladly do it. I would *LOVE* a more viable, more conservative candidate than Romney. Give me that option.

It's time to lead, follow or get out of the way. Choose one.

"What can not be remedied must be suffered" is the hand we've been dealt. Job one is to defeat Obama. Job two is to constrain & pressure Romney as much as we can (Presuming some other, more desirable, miracle conservative candidate doesn't pop up and win it all).

I also like the idea of making it known that conservatives intend to primary Romney at the next opportunity. Successful or not, it's added pressure and more press he has to deal with. It might incent him to lean to the right more.

I am fully aware that there are no guarantees with Romney, other than we know he will be somewhere from the center to mid-right. However, we absolutely know that Obama fully intends to take us as far left as he can, congress and the courts be damned. He'll just do it by increased regulations and czars if he has to.

Given those circumstances, logic and reason dictate my selection. That does not mean it's a glorious and wonderful choice that I'm happy about, only that I'm trying to make the best choice I can from the crap options I have.

If the Romney nay-sayers, poo-poo'ers and tantrum throwers have a better, more viable candidate that can best Romney and defeat Obama, I *dearly* wish they would let us know. But they don't and they can't. If such a critter existed, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

It is time for Mr. RomneyCARE to admit WHO he is,
and to run with Obama.

Obama/Romney 2012

Mr. RomneyCARE should PULL OUT and let CONSERVATIVES save the Nation.

Obama/Romney 2012... Mr. RomneyCARE should pull out and let conservatives save the Nation

I'm not sure if you suffer from some mental defects and/or are posting drunk... But, I'll humor you on the remote chance you can manage brief moments of clarity and reason.

For the third or fourth time (I've lost count): What conservative(s) do you have in mind that can overcome the GOP candidate, take the lead in the polls and ultimately defeat Obama? Give me a viable alternative to get behind. Lead, follow or get out of the way.

If you can't do that, despite your *best* efforts, I'll stick with my plan to vote for the leading candidate who has the best odds of beating Obama - which right now is the GOP candidate. That doesn't guarantee Obama will lose, just that the GOP candidate is currently solidly ahead of anyone else running against Obama.

Your attacks on FReepers with ad hominem...

LOL! No, you insufferable jackass - I don't attack anyone, but in this case you have earned it and I will gladly point out *YOU SPECIFICALLY* as a crap-talking, non-sense spewing idiot who refuses to be reasonable.

I have told you 5 or six times now that I'm voting for whoever stands the best chance of beating Obama. Right now that is the GOP candidate who (barring some miracle at the convention) is Romney.

I have also asked you over and over that if you have a better alternative to state it. Make your case and give me an option with better odds of beating Obama and I'll take it!

Instead of responding in a rational, logical, prudent fashion, you said you preferred a Romney/Obama 2012 ticket! And you call yourself a *FREEPER!?* Really?

Last chance jackass: Lead, follow or get out of the way. If you insist on staying in the way, then you only prove your opinions are invalid and can be safely ignored.

But I doubt you could muster a serious reply. So, bub-bye, troll.
