Narcissistic personality disorder (Did it promote the "WHITE HOUSE LEAKS"?)
MAYO CLINIC ^ | Unknown | MAYO CLINIC staff

Definition By Mayo Clinic staff

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and in other areas of their life, such as work or school.

Narcissistic personality disorder treatment is centered around psychotherapy.

When 0bama stated "MY WHITE HOUSE" the thought came to me he did not ever do a lofty speech condeming the leaks in the past but rather went on money grubbing tours and played golf and hit the Hollywood lime lights.

Just think this may be a problem that was not VETTED.

a lot of peeps saying soetoro needed to look strong instead of the weakling that he is. There have been a continued flow of top secret leaks and nothing done to stop them. All indications point directly to soetoro and his group. I also tend to believe the latest stuxnet was soetoro mocking the iranians after they mocked him with the “return of the drone”. The commie is a loose cannon and needs to be stopped immediately.

I hadn’t seen this article until now, but on an earlier leak thread today, I connected his Narcissistic personality disorder to his leaking of classified information. Maybe I should be working for the Mayo Clinic. Nah!! Retirement is much better.

He’s so bad even that bitch of a wife hates him. NPD renders him to be but merely a tool of those who can exploit his weakness.

The 25th Amendment allows a majority of the Cabinet to declare the President unfit to continue his duties.

The question is how may are diehards like Holder and how many want to live politically as a democrat like Clinton?

That fits him and his supporters to a tee, doesn’t it?!

Their Obama chants “we are the smart ones” and people who disagree with us are “stupid” or people who “cling to their Bibles and guns” or calling his enemy “teabaggers” fits the psycho left to a tee.

His tight control over the press and people in the party and his inability to tolerate critizim is also prevelant. From the less complicated, “He’s dead to us” in referring to the NJ Mayor who suggested Bain Capital is not evil and his classifying his conservative opponents domestic terrorists in DHS. Everyone who disagrees with Obama is a dirty white racist or an Uncle Tom. He can not even talk to the Republicans in Congress because he can not tolerate the disagreement that would suggest he is not the most superior and brilliant one afterall.

The Iranians are now claiming a recent US attack against their oil industry. So either we are at war with Iran already (very possible) or we have a loose cannon executive that could end up starting a large scale regional war.

While that may be true for the most part, we who really have the disease don't give a crap about the criticism. Always thought avoiding people was a sport, or a necessity.

Since Obama first came onto the scene and began campaigning I have been convinced that he suffers from NPD. I have said this for years, here and other sites. There are two big problems with those who are true, clinically diagnosable narcissists.

The first is...that they can fool even the most discerning person, even trained psychologists and psychiatrists. At least for a period of time. Hence, they fool almost everyone they meet - until it is too late.

Second is...they can be dangerous, cannot be trusted, and do not have any inner moral compass that deters them from doing whatever they want to achieve what they want.

That said, one must remember that a Narcissist never reacts "normally," as we expect others to act. So, they cannot be judged by the same standards. It is like trying to have a rational discussion with an irrational person. Narcissists just do not think like the rest of us.

What is a saving grace is that Narcissists are really not very creative or clever, they continue to do the same thing...the same as other narcissists do. That, in a way, makes them predictable. You can predict that a narcissist will lie, that he/she will blame others, that the narcissist will become angry when challenged or questioned (thin skinned), that they must have constant adoration and affirmation of greatness, and...if found out or "discovered" for their lies or their faults they become depressed. Many so depressed that they run away, leave their jobs, families, etc. and try to invent themselves all over again.

However, when they cannot run away and cannot change their surroundings...such as Obama...the depression just gets worse. That is when they are most dangerous. A narcissist has to do things to make himself feel better, more appreciated, and more feared (they love people to fear them, it gives them power). Those closest to Obama must know this. They have probably known it from the beginning. Seeing him speak to the Press yesterday it was obvious that he is on some anti-depressants or drug that was making him speak foolishly, say illogical things, and appear as though he was "lost in space."

This was also obvious two years ago when Obama's popularity ratings were low. At that time Pelosi, et al ramrodded the Health Care Bill through Congress. This was not out of concern for or the sake of the public...but it was quickly rushed through to give Obama a lift in the public eye, and help boost his self-esteem. It is why, now, Obama is jetting around with the Hollywood set, and why he has reached out to the gay community. He desperately needs their adoration and blind acceptance. As long as he endears himself to those who are also self-centered, and who thrive on attention, or also feel somewhat inadequate and on the fringe, he will be fed his daily "fix" that he needs to feel he is important and loved.

Actually, a narcissist is a pathetic, tortured person. Every day is a challenge...to keep people from finding out the truth, to keep the lies covered, to keep people adoring him, to fit in and be loved, to be important, to keep people in his "fog." A narcissist lives in fear of being uncovered for his weaknesses. It is a terrible existence. It is worse when the narcissist has been given power as a leader, and the United States and the world is suffering because no one kept this narcissist out of the White House. Instead, his weakness was exploited by those who knew how to manipulate him and make him think he was as great as he pretended. He believed them, they fed his narcissistic appetite, he did as they asked, they praised him, and the cycle is repeated. A narcissist is the most gullible of people, more than any person, as long as those around him make him feel important and feed his depleted ego. Aside from all the other mysteries about Obama and his history, the fact that he is such an emotionally dysfunctional/emotionally needy person is the most frightening. One never knows when he will cross the line.

“When 0bama stated “MY WHITE HOUSE”...”

I heard him say that and immediately thought, “He really thinks it’s HIS.”

He is delusional. His house is in Chicago or Indonesia or Kenya, who the hell knows?

“When 0bama stated “MY WHITE HOUSE”...”

He thinks its his White House because he stole it through voter fraud. He knows the American voter didn't put him in there as guests of the country.

The main quibble with this article is that it suggests that “treatement” is possible. Color me skeptical.

But the prognosis is dire.

I’ve had too many encounters with narcissists as I’m in the television and film industry. I love you’re share here! They truly are thick skinned. O even have one who I caught stalking me. He’s likely seeking revenge because I bruised his ego. What happens to such a person if they’re publicly mocked?

This is well-plowed ground around here. The pathological narcissism has been noted for years. Glad the Mayo Clinic finally caught up. The Achilles heel of the narcissist btw is fear of being exposed as inadequate despite a grandiose public self image. Obama is afraid he will be exposed as a weakling, so it figures he will do whatever he needs to do to appear strong. Including betray his country.
