I’d like to, unfortunately the biggest alternative is also a socialist and a sworn enemy of GOP conservatives and the tea party.

DC and the Washingtonians are always the problem and will NEVER be the solution.

The sooner the inevitable collapse caused by ignoring the Founders and amending the Constitution to institute Universal Suffrage happens, the better.

The collapse will be when the SS and welfare checks stop coming.

The franchise must be limited and determined by the states.

Incorporate term limits and rotate the Capital amongst the States.

"Democracies have been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death." James Madison

Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. John Adams: letter to John Taylor, April 15, 1814

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.:Thomas Jefferson

I hope we can agree on a conservative to vote for, or at least turn the Senate and congress conservative.

I cannot vote for Romney, who unfortunately is a lying, socialist, gay activist baby-killer. We never would have been stuck with him if the GOP establishment hadn’t tilted the table.

I will be voting for him, to fire Obama.

The media hates Romney, because they love Obama, and that’s good enough for my vote.

Obama has to go.

Not neccesarily possible.
The Repjblican party seems bent on running a candidate social conservatives will not vote for, and social conservatives will not compromise on the basics of economics.

Pretty much the election will be decided at the Republican National convention. If they go Romney, its a toss up at best. Some one else and Obonghit is likely toast.

NO HONEYMOON! NO RINO!

This is the problem and I am on record on this. When people like me rail against Romney there will be an unholy alliance between the the right and the left. In 2016 Romney and the pubs will be out and the left will be in...possibly for a long time.

Besides the fact that romney has NOTHING to offer social conservatives, I'm still waiting for him to reach out of us. He refused to attend a single prolife or profamily event. He says he does not need to reach out to us, we will vote for him. Besides being arrogant, he is ignorant of the fact that real conservatives stand up against evil, no matter their party affiliation. I do not see much difference between obama and romney socially. I don't care what he “says”; it's what he “does” that is important.

If Romney is a ‘stick your finger in the air & see which way the wind blows’ kind of guy (& I think he is), then he will sign off on conservative legislation when it is presented to him. Vote for Romney & vote for the most extremely, extreme Tea-Partying person for the house & senate. They will lead the way & Romney will follow.

We have a freeper telling us that looking at the situation that way is like a puppy rolling on its back piddling on itself in submission. We’re supposed to prevent Rominy (rhymes with hominy, the tasteless corn product) from getting a mandate, by voting third party, so that if little barry bastard commie wins he will not have a mandate either. And the poster is certain he knows what the vote counts will be in NOvember so he must convince you to follow his lead and vote third party.

I think too many people don't get this. Unlike Obama, Romney isn't an activist, he is an opportunist. This puts the responsibility in Conservatives' corner to influence him, something we have no chance to do with Obama. Romney will pander, Obama won't. A pandering moderate is better than a liberal activist. We failed (yes, WE failed) in getting a Conservative champion so we have to play the game as it is presented to us.

ME 2

ANN COULTER elucidates the problem completely.....

There are 2 issues here.....CRUCIAL ONES.......the results of which are lethal to AMERICA and they cannot be undone.....the question becomes which candidate has the best stance on these 2 issues

1. OBAMACARE...if it is allowed to go forth and people get used to some of the ‘treats’ it contains...then it cannot and will not be overturned AND AMERICA WILL FOREVER BE CONDEMEND TO GO DOWN THE SOCIALIST PATH......people simply will not let go of their treats...therefore we must back the man most likely to deep six obamacare....on Mitts website he pledges on his first day in office to write immediate waivers to each of the 50 states thereby rendering it a non starter then he pledges to work for it’s repeal.

2. Immigration ....if amnesty in any form goes forth its just a matter of time before America becomes CALIFORNIA...again it is something that cannot be undone AND WILL FOREVER CHANGE AMERICA... if allowed to go become law and illegal immigration is not stopped in it’s tracks..........

On his website MITT says:

‘Mitt Romney believes in the rule of law and will FULLY ENFORCE THE FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS. As governor, he authorized state police to assist the federal government in immigration enforcement.

SO HE’LL ENFORCE THE LAW AND NO AMNESTY....

‘Mitt Romney opposes amnesty because he believes that it acts as a magnet encouraging illegal immigration. The last amnesty law passed in 1986 granted legal status to 2.7 million illegal immigrants. In the decades since, the illegal immigrant population has quadrupled. Mitt believes that an amnesty should not be permitted to happen again. Illegal immigrants who apply for legal status should not be given any advantage over those who are following the law and waiting their turn. Mitt absolutely opposes any policy that would allow illegal immigrants to “cut in line.’

NOW as far as his other leanings which some conservatives might find not so palatable..

Ann Coulter points out that Mitt does show some willingness to be influenced and listen to other conservative thought and with our control of both houses it will be not a difficult thing to bring him around to conplete conservative compliance...
