I believe, but I’m not sure, they serve one year terms - just like District, Council, and Area board seats. A nominating committee puts forward a name, and then there is a vote, and almost always unanimous. At the end of the terms, you either are invited by the nominating committee to serve another term, or you are thanked for your service and given a placque.
The placque signifies ‘you’re done’. Generally, you request not to be nominated again if you are tired or too busy to fill that role.
Nobody is ever ‘voted out’. People resign, and that’s what can happen here if enough board members do a ‘WTF?’ with him and ask if Ernst & Young will be paying off the families of all the kids who are going to get cornholed by his moment of egalitarianism.
