Just on the western outer edge of it today. Had thunder, wind and only a light spray of drizzle. Such a teaser this whole week of rain potential but you folks who got the damaging hail—sorry to hear.

Every so often we get one of these.
Every car on my street got beat up, 3” holes in the hatchbacks rear windshield (if it still had one) and front windshields cracked and smashed.
I figure it is a warning for all those new blue state “immigrants.” They can get on the phone and tell all there friends “back home” how awful it is here and forget about moving here.
On the other hand, when the hail and the rain stopped all my neighbors were out looking at their beat up cars.
Conversation broke out, next thing you know a couple of cases of beer appear on the lawn and everybody is standing out in a couple of the front yards having a party.
A friend of mine lives in North Dallas and had two sky lights...key word is had...She said the hailstones were as big as softballs and were wickedly spiked. Her car was beaten to a pulp.
I was in Colorado Springs last week and my husbands truck was hit bad. USAA Ins comes tomorrow to assess the damage. The storm hit near the mall and the hail there was to the top of the car. They said it was a 100 year storm. Crazy.
Since last year’s drought there was proof of global warming, is this now proof that global warming has ended?
I had a travel trailer parked on some property halfway between Houston and Dallas. We had a heavy hailstorm pass through one December day, raining stones the size of softballs. The ground was as pock-marked as the moon. One stone passed through the roof! Overall, beat to hell.
