America's Marxist picnic
WND ^ | June 17, 2012 | David Kupelian

Here’s a very personal story that illustrates just how radically America’s attitude toward Marxism and communism has changed during our lifetime.

It’s about one of our nation’s top rocket scientists – my dad, Vahey S. Kupelian, who if he were still alive would be 100 years old June 23.

Don't Miss a Moment This Summer. 100BCMoments.comAs a little boy, my dad survived the horrific Turkish genocide of the Armenians that took the life of his physician father, infant sister and dozens of other family members. Yet he and his mother, Mary, were blessed to escape to the Promised Land, America, where they thrived. It was hard – my father worked as a janitor at age 13 while he was learning English – but a few years later he graduated from MIT and ultimately became one of this nation’s key aerospace pioneers.

As the Army’s chief scientist for ballistic missile defense, and later, as deputy undersecretary of defense for strategic and theater nuclear forces under Ronald Reagan, my dad contributed greatly to his adopted nation’s security, heading up the development of many cutting-edge ballistic missile defense projects including the Army’s HIT program – the original “spaced-based” missile interceptor in Reagan’s visionary Strategic Defense Initiative.

David’s book, Marketing of Evil, is great and chronicles the takeover of culture and the forcing of Evil as Good. Normalizing the destructive behaviors that destroys the families which devastates children and destroys the possibility of becoming wise. It is why you see idiots and liberals who can’t think. They are brainwashed and conditioned by Pavlov/Skinner techniques in public schools (BK Eakman). Little did parents know that leftist wrote all the curricula to destroy Virtue (which destroys civil societies and makes freedom impossible).

We used to promote Virtue in mainstream culture-—but the underground took over in the 70’s after planting leftist lawyers and judges who destroyed America’s legal system. We are Post-Constitutional.

Amazing how much has changed since we grew up.

I had to take a loyalty oath to work as ref for the intramural department when I was college. That was not that long ago.

You need to take a little time to learn how to post an article.

We can fight back. Get kids out of the public school and control everything that shapes their thinking. BRing back Classical Education which taught Right and Wrong-—like the McGuffey Readers which were used through even the 20’s in America education.

Dewey (Fabian Socialist) destroyed the education system by taking out God and Absolute Truth. Our Constitution is about Objective Truth—God-—because our Natural Rights come from God. We need to get back to laws which promote Virtue. Just Law is the basis of our legal system which stems from the Virtue, Justice. To be Just—all laws have to promote Virtue.

The Founders understood this and it is why we are one based on Rule of Law instead of Rule of Man-—which is a system of arbitrary law (like Hitler and Stalin had-—not based on Right Reason according to Natural Law.

All we have to do-—as Cicero stated-—is get back to Rule of Law.

It is that easy :)

It is all about Natural Law Theory. We are a country where our Laws have to come from the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God—to be Just Law. This is all about Standards of Right and Wrong which has its basis in Christianity because of English Common Law and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Our ideology is not compatible with socialism and Marxism which is arbitrary law—all atheist law which denies God can only be arbitrary. It is unconstitutional because it is NOT Just Law. It gives special rights to a few.

Thanks.

If you get a chance to hear him in an interview, he's usually excellent.

Yes!!! We need to get informed and it would just take a couple of determined educated people at the local levels in ALL school districts to get parents back in control of ALL curricula and ALL BOARDS and control of hiring of all the teachers (not accredited since they are Atheists with an agenda in many cases of 16 years of radical, Marxist indoctrination). There are homeschooling and internet materials that are far superior than the CAIR and Billy Ayers designed agitprop being forced into public schools today AND PAID FOR BY US!!!!!!!!!!! Terrorists and muslims and homosexuals are designing the curricula teaching children “Black is white” and children believe it. (it is why you can never argue with a liberal....their foundation of thinking is based on lies).

Think of how brilliant people like Lincoln and Mark Twain and Ben Franklin and Theodore Roosevelt were. They hardly stepped into a public classroom. They were fed on the Classics—self-taught in many cases. To be educated you would have to know about Plato’s Republic and the Nicomachean Ethics and Cicero and Law. John Locke, Adam Smith and Blackstone along with memorization of the Declaration of Independence and the 10 Commandments should be required by all 12 year olds.

I read a bit of that but will mark it for later when I have more time.

Have you gotten into the genesis of modern education, John Dewey?

Oh yes. I first read John Taylor Gatto’s book, The Underground History of American Education in 05 or so. That lead me to read BK Eakman and Charlotte Iserbyt and a few others.

The real paradigm shift for me though was earlier when I read, The Closing of the American Mind— by Alan Bloom. I was shocked and angry—at first, but which led me to Gatto and a lot of others, like Eakman and Blumfeld.

Bloom’s book is about all the underlying philosophy of the Postmodernists and how the ideology got into the Universities and curricula. Bloom was a philosophy teacher at Univ. of Chicago who wrote the book in the mid 80’s after noticing how dumb (not his word) his students were—and had no morals—were moral relativists. They were so unknowledgeable, that they could no longer relate to history or literature or ideas. They had no clue to anything in the Bible either——a first for him—to have the majority be so ignorant of US history and traditions and ideas that were staples of the previous generation who had morality.

You know, not to argue, but the classics you named are a far cry from how I learned. Mine was a mediocre school in a one horse town. But we had teachers that knew us as individuals and guided us. And I read and read, but never those classics. I don’t think you need to be able to sit around and ponder the nature of mankind to figure out what is what.

Actually, Rush Limbaugh taught me more about government, laws, the basis of our government., etc. back when I first started listening to him in the 90’s. He was a fireball during the Clinton years on right and wrong, civics, etc.. He get’s off on trivia a lot now, but he is still a wealth of knowledge.

I say “Classics” because they never confused Good and Evil. Today’s entertainment and most novels, glorify evil behaviors and ridicule the Righteous—the good behavior which leads to happiness—long term meaningful relationships with spouse and children.

You were lucky and had adults who promoted true Virtue. That was common in all schools prior to Dewey. That is rare in today’s media controlled environment and pagan schools where kids are lucky to have two parents and not raised by TV. Classical Education is their only chance.

The Classics would give these children guidance to the Moral, Good, Active life. The emphasis was always on character development and growth-—never the sexual instant gratification of today’s culture which destroys all long term relationships and the ability to be happy, productive adults. It creates a culture of victims, addicts and people unable or resistant to taking responsibility for any of their actions.

Freedom can only exist with Virtuous people....Our Constitution was built with that ideology. Classics instill it-—that is why the Marxists yelled at Stanford—Hey Ho, Western Civ has got to go. They want chaos that immoral people create-—all the anger, jealousy, mistrust, and fear—that is always in Communist countries so Nanny is needed.

Worldview of the pagan/occult/Marxist culture of dependency that we have now, is the opposite of the honor, duty, wisdom and moderation prevalent in the Western Canon prior to the Atheist/Marxist Postmodernist takeover of culture where they killed God (and all morality).

With promotion of all the modern “literature” which confused Good and Evil and in many instances like The Beats-—glorified somdomization of boys.
Very sick ideas entered the universities by the 60’s and led to the sexual revolution with the promotion of The Beats, Marcuse, Kinsey and Hefner. The glorification of evil ideas—was in full force by the 70’s-—Values Clarification in public schools—to destroy Christian Ethics in all children so we could have The Brave New World of children masturbating and jumping everything in sight. Not the Founders idea of Freedom-—I would say.
