FORT MYERS, Fla., June 21 (UPI) -- The Transportation Security Administration said an agent was groped by a woman who was unhappy about her pat down at a Florida airport.
Carol Price of Bonita Springs is facing a misdemeanor battery charge after she allegedly groped a TSA supervisor at Southwest Florida International Airport, WZVN-TV, Fort Myers, Fla., reported Thursday.
John Mills, Price's defense attorney, said his client was showing the supervisor the inappropriate way she had been touched by a TSA agent.
"It was a customer complaint of an extremely inappropriate search," Mills said.
Mills said Price is a former TSA agent who used to work at the airport. He said the inappropriate pat-down was a personal attack by a former colleague.Mills said Price had been on her way to Ohio to attend her brother's funeral, but she did not make it due to her arrest.
"Ms. Price just wants her name cleared," Mills said.
The TSA released a statement defending the agent.
"The pat down was conducted correctly in accordance with our procedures. Violence against our officers who work every day to keep the traveling public safe is unacceptable," the statement said.

Being charged with a crime for groping a TSA agent is like someone being charged for lying to congress.Good one!
All I can say is she knows the work schedules, parking arrangements and probably home locations of these people.

Hey, I enjoy a good joke as much as the next guy but are TSA people actually saying this with a straight face. TSA agents have literally hundreds of theft allegations against them. Anyone who travels and has to watch these arrogant idiots push innocent citizens around knows what the real situation is. These idiots have confiscated my nail clippers, my shampoo, my deodorant and once two of them sat looking at an xray of my electric razor and cord and asked each other if it was a bomb.
I can't go into an airport without seeing dozens of them standing around doing nothing.
My only good experience was when I was randomly selected for a thorough security check by a hot, young female agent, She patted down my crotch area thoroughly. She felt inside my waistband and my shirt. She put her hands in each of my pants pockets. She had a nice, gentle touch
I thought the crotch WAS the private sector.

Unfortunately she didn’t steal one of the TSA employees iPhones. Every time the TSA steals something valuable it is a minor, isolated incident and the employee is politely asked to resign.

I once bought a box of fudge in a small airport gift shop to take back to the office. The gift shop is right beside the security station. I pointed out the shelf where I picked up the box through the gift shop window. The TSA idiot still spent ten minutes trying to figure out if the lump of fudge was a bomb.
