The US edition also edits the conversation the young man had with the woman in the club.

I have three hard-back copies in my collection, I don't have a Jonathan Cape. The one I most prize is the 1987 Folio Society edition I picked up in April, brand new, still in its shrink wrap. The Folio Society edition is illustrated, comes with a slipcover, no dust jacket, but with a foreward by Ken Follit who claims that Live and Let Die was his favorite Bond novel.

I believe that movie was made campy just to get it over with to avoid any racial controversy. In Fact, Sir Rog claimed the novel was racist.
