Rio+20: Greens Concede Defeat As Developing Nations Reject Green Agenda
The Global Warming Policy Foundation ^ | June 22, 2012 | Louise Gray

Posted on 06/22/2012 11:58:55 AM PDT by Twotone

Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister, has admitted that the Rio+20 deal is “disappointing.” He blamed China and other developing countries that have huge reserves of coal and want to continue using fossil fuels to grow, for failing to back plans for the green economy. “The political significance of Rio is that the G77 nations are antagonistic to our European ideas on the green economy,” said Mr Clegg.

More than 190 countries are gathered in Rio for the largest ever United Nations summit on the environment.

Funny stuff.

The Communist Chinese didn’t support the collectivist death-cult Greens.

Greens Concede Defeat

HAH! If only.

Instead, the snake oil salesmen are riding it all the way to the bank.

China was all for it as long as they got paid carbon credits. It started out with the “developing nations” getting the best of the deal. I guess the Eurotwits can no longer afford to pay them the big bucks.

all we are seeing is a decline in rhetoric. These thieves are still stealing or planning to steal from us all. That said to get them to slower steps rather than racing headlong towards their socialist Green utopia has been a major effort on the part of the blogosphere. Lots of people on FR have been great at disseminating information to us and the wider world and I am sure we will all continue to point at these naked emperors and at their lack of clothing.

It may take another 20 years until the vast majority of people see this for what it is and it is resigned to the rubbish bin of history. These liars will continue in their lies until they can no longer do so. The amount of damage they do in the meantime is still an unknown and must be fought against every inch of the way.

Its all about money and power and they aren't just walking away from it.

My power company recently got approval from the state to raise rates to make up for losses resulting from falling demand. (supply and demand is apparently an outdated free market ideal) Meanwhile they're building wind farms that the people don't want while getting tax breaks for going green.

No, but China bribes our politicians to force it on us. Look at all the political traitors with investments in China and Asia who push the ‘green’ agenda— Schwarzenegger, Brown, Feinstein in California just to name the tip of the iceberg.

It doesn’t matter if China or the third world don’t support it, because at it’s core the green agenda is to destroy the first world economies, especially the USA’s and redirect development to the third world, where their politicians can be bought for a lower price, land and resources are cheaper and there’s plenty of slave labor for the trashnational corporations to exploit.

There lies the purpose of the ‘Rio Accords’.

Agreed, I n my estimation it is more about control and power - when you have that the money is yours anyway. It is also about thinking they are morally superior. They see themselves as great leaders forging a new post Christian world where everyone will be blessed to have their leadership even if they have to force it on them. They are smarter, more moral, care about the planet and it,s creatures more. We are so lucky to have them.

I agree. Small steps and each one obligates someone to pay for the hoax(s) so as to be politically correct or “green”.
Note the establishment of a new measurement— GDP+.
I guess in the UK that will entail an agency to define what GDP+ is and how it should be measured. Then money/grants/loans will be made to political appointees to set up consulting companies to “assist” companies in measuring and improving their GDP+. And if you’re a good little GDP+ company, you’ll get a pretty flag to fly outside your firm and T-shirts will be printed declaring your company fell in line and participated in this fraud du jour.
It’s all shades of ISO 2000, ISO9000, green labeling and has less value than the other old/passe consulting scams like blackbelts/greenbelts, Just-in-Time etc.

What a bunch of B___S___!

If we don’t find a way soon to neutralize the power of these globalist ‘elites’, who use our economy and our tax dollars to destroy us, there may be no way back to freedom for us.

So many people now don’t care about the destruction of private property rights, the break down of the rule of law, and the outright looting of money from the American people. What will finally make them mad enough or afraid enough to do their duty as citizens of this country?

Apparently we'll have to get to the point where people are being forcibly relocated by the hundreds or thousands. The problem is that people are being relocated now through financial and regulatory means and its not aggressive enough to slap some sense into them.

Personally I've long suspected that Michigan's economy is as bad as it is by design. We sit dead center in the greatest concentration of fresh water on the planet.

If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics.
