If i’m not already on it, please add me to the Homebrew ping list.
Used to make lots of beer when I lived along the Yukon, sold all my stuff when I moved so I haven’t restarted yet.

My favorite? I made 2
I did a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone recipe of which I found in Brew magazine. It was EXCELLENT! I still have the recipe card somewhere in storage.
Also did a Sam Adams clone that was to die for. Recipe also found in Brew magazine.

The molasses brew (George) has gone from 8%SG to 2 1/2% since last week. It's working fast. Taste test gets better as time goes by. Probably bottle it early next week and let it carbonate and condition.
It's a little sweet yet. But no off flavors and other than the sweetness that the yeastie beasties will take care of, it's very drinkable.
Overall, this is an experiment that made me happy.

Wish I could do that but the funds are limited at the moment. I am having fun with my extracts though.

Extracts rock too!
I love fresh beer in the mornin...er...afternoon. It smells and tastes like freedom.
Use to make John Bull dark from the extract...used double the amount of extract...YUM! Had a licorice like finish.

Been thinking about doing a cherry wine with all the early cherries getting ready to drop. Now is a great time to get free cherries from people wanting the trees cleaned up. Go you your local classifieds and look for this free fruit.
Free wine is the best wine. If you have not yet had a cherry wine you are missing out. ;)

This Liberty Cream Ale just started bubbling the air lock! I pitched the yeast at about 2:30 pm today. I know the dry yeast is a fast starter and fast fermenter. But this was fast! About 5.5 hours. I hope it attenuates well. It could be the late Extract addition I did. Lots more sugars available for the yeasties to feed on. I love it because the air lock is bubbling.

I don’t think there are many fresh cherries here in NE Texas. Wish there were!
