The Nazi symbol was a “Running Swastika”, like a x. The Finns had them on their planes with the base flat before the Nazi’s adopted it. It was a good luck thing like a rabbits foot during WW II, since many Vets had them as good luck pieces, the Nazis adopted it. That’s what I heard, I might be wrong. The American Indians and the Indians of Asia had the symbol long before the Nazis. A Texas Inf. Div had it on their shoulder patch, and had it changed during WW II for fear that they would be mistaken as Germans by our allies.

These morons flew this plane over Long Beach Island on the day that the new synagogue was being opened.

I do wish people would pay more attention to the context and not just have the instant knee-jerk reaction whenever they see or hear something they deem offensive.
Forbidden words and symbols are an impediment to an honest discussion about them.
Having said that, I can see this is an uphill battle, they might as well try to rehabilitate the n-word.

Ironically the swastika was a Native American symbol hundreds of years before it was taken over by the Nazis. There are many examples in Native American art where the swastika symbol is used and in 1914 a swastika was even incorporated into the annual panels of corn designs for the Corn Place in Mitchel, SD. There are photos of past Corn Place designs on display there and this photo has a long explanation about why the swastika was used.

There is a swastika spray painted on driveway in front of a house in my neighborhood.

When I first saw it, I was a bit shocked to see something like that here in this neighborhood. I wanted to "fix" it for the people living there, maybe remove it or paint over it.

But, were my perceptions and conclusions correct? I remembered that Kolchak: The Night Stalker:" Horror in the Heights" episode where the swastika graffiti were not Nazi or racial, but were actually a Hindu symbol, one often deployed to “ward off evil spirits.”

Turns out that the Socialist Democrats (aka Nazis) perverted this ancient symbol to give luck to their armed forces in their quest for world domination.

Some things never change.

Our Socialist Demonrats are doing exactly the same things now, demonizing our national symbols, our heroes, our values, even demonizing God and are doing their best to remove Him from our lives.

How many millions will have to die to stop the Socialist Demonrats this time?

I don’t see the big deal. I see swastikas EVERYWHERE and no one cares. The logos for Chase bank and for Columbia sportswear are swastikas. So are the logos for Sun Microsystems and Windows XP. The London Olympics symbol is a triune swastika. The brick sidewalk at my doctors office is all swastikas, too.

Sorry, but I don’t see what the fuss is all about since swastikas are all over the place already.
