how the Swiss military has, in effect, wired the entire country to blow in the event of foreign invasion. To keep enemy armies out, bridges will be dynamited and, whenever possible, deliberately collapsed onto other roads and bridges below; hills have been weaponized to be activated as valley-sweeping artificial landslides; mountain tunnels will be sealed from within to act as nuclear-proof air raid shelters; and much more.
First, a quick look at the system of self-demolition that is literally built into the Swiss national infrastructure: To interrupt the utility of bridges, tunnels, highways, railroads, Switzerland has established three thousand points of demolition. That is the number officially printed. It has been suggested to me that to approximate a true figure a reader ought to multiply by two. Where a highway bridge crosses a railroad, a segment of the bridge is programmed to drop on the railroad. Primacord fuses are built into the bridge. Hidden artillery is in place on either side, set to prevent the enemy from clearing or repairing the damage.

Near the German border of Switzerland, every railroad and highway tunnel has been prepared to pinch shut explosively. Nearby mountains have been made so porous that whole divisions can fit inside them. There are weapons and soldiers under barns. There are cannons inside pretty houses. Where Swiss highways happen to run on narrow ground between the edges of lakes and to the bottoms of cliffs, man-made rockslides are ready to slide.
I own a couple of books on this topic and it is fascinating, but I did know a Swiss PHD female who had never known about it.
When I was asking her about the mandatory service, guns kept at home, built in defenses, she had no idea what I was talking about.
Or maybe it’s like fight club, they don’t talk about it.
I think it was just a chick thing.
The book Total Resistance by Major H. Van Dach is written on this very subject. Very illuminating.
Why are they scared of the Germans?
My copy is less than 2’ from where I am sitting.
Excellent book. Every Patriot should own a copy.

Looks like a plan to me (former cbt. engr., cbt. type).
Now if we could just figure out how to blow up the Rio Grande.
One of the first acts following the takeover of a country by muzzies has often been to destroy the accomplishments of the defeated countrymen.
Switzerland is just preparing the place for them to do it in a big way.
Good for them. Not bad to be a boy scout.
Past history. They were the only country in Europe not overrun by the Nazis, it was too difficult to take conventionally. Good thing we got the bomb before the swishyboots did.
Or make an artificial Rio Grande exactly along the border. Big, big drop.
I knew the title sounded familiar, I googled the image to see if their was an older cover and saw that it is a book that I own, and like, but my copy (which is buried somewhere around here) is the old paperback with the cross on the cover.
It is a very good book and a light, easy read.
It is the only place in the US or Europe where I have seen a National Guard soldier taking a train to a meeting while carrying his rifle and ammo.
