If you qualify, and requirements vary from state to state, you will get an Assurance phone and 250 minutes of airtime with the Assurance Wireless program at absolutely no cost. If 250 minutes are not enough, you can get more minutes for a low monthly fee, or more minutes can be added as needed with Virgin Mobile Top-Up cards, ......you probably qualify for a phone from the company if you participate in Medicaid, Food Stamps/SNAP, General Assistance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8), Home Energy Assistance Programs (HEAP, LIHEAP & E-HEAP), The National School Lunch Programs Free Lunch Program, Supplemental Security Income (SSDI) or possibly some other public assistance programs.
Nice. I’m still waiting for the
car with 5 gallons of gas per month./s
I want a pony.
Get your Obama Phone now.
I want night vision goggles.
The Government screwed up regular TV now they want to keep you in the dark with sham cell phones no thanks I’ll pay for mine or just do without !
Obama will give you a baby unicorn of your very own.
Must be Obama’s crones in the communications industry who are the real recipients of the largesse then.
I *need* a personal jetpack. I can’t tell you why.
I know a free loader that has this. It is a trackphone by the way. Only the government provide the phone and it basically does not work most of the time. Calls won’t go through and when they do then only one side can hear the other. A normal trackphone works fine in the same area.
The guy also has a reduced rate land line phone. Lifeline or something it is called. The government just gave him an ultimatum. He can have one or the other, but not both.
We pay..for ours and yours
I want everything that’s free! Can I have a free lunch?
Ammo is too expensive, can the gov/military share some with me?
Maybe if it saves on foodstamps.
Not yet, but in the meantime here is a sign for your front door.
I have personally spoken with several people who are defrauding this government program by having multiple phones within a family.
If you qualify, and requirements vary from state to state, you will get an Assurance phone and 250 minutes of airtime with the Assurance Wireless program
at absolutely no cost involuntarily paid for by US taxpayers who actually pay taxes.
Let's get real, shall we?
My husband and I use Boost mobile. He has a regular flip phone and I have an android. His runs $50 a month and mine is $60.
Unlimited talk, text and web.
I’m giving the android to my son and getting a flip phone for myself. I’ve discovered that I’m a bit of a Luddite in that regard.
Sooner rather than later. We provide free housing, food, edjumacation, and health care to the indolent at our expense. We pay for cash EBT cards that can be used for anything to subsidize the life style of those who preferto vote for a living rather than work for a living.
I want a liter of mittens
What’s wrong w/trac phones?
We went to Trac 2 years ago and it is just fine, works everywhere, just buy minutes as needed. There are sales (2 for the price of one) on minutes all the time.
My husband went to mobile broadband to have affordable Internet at his office. You can’t download videos (too slow), but for text and email it is very affordable. See Broadband2Go.
We pay our own way, of course.
aka phonyphone ? Actually, looking at the posts above and how poorly the phones work, you’d have to say it’s the same as the rest of his promises.
tracphone is an AT&T reseller. when you get tracphone you get the AT&T network for better or for worse.
Has worked for us all over the country, even in the UP.
Actually, I need to check, but I thought it was Sprint, here.
It might be Sprint. At one time 90+% of what they sold was AT&T and the rest Verizon, but maybe they've signed a deal with Sprint now.
