I remember that episode of Star Trek too, “A Private Little War.”

A little before my time but I would guess Route 66.

The Munsters episode with Leo Durocher, where Herman was trying out for baseball and hit the ball so hard it was suggested he be sent to Vietnam instead.

I'm going to guess (not even looking it up!) the NBC show "Julia."

Well, you have a link to YouTube, showing a porky pig cartoon. Would that be it?

The Addams Family or the Munsters?

Maybe Lost in space.

Beverly Hillbillies was the first to mention weather manipulation ‘we’re going to drop silver iodide RIGHT INTO DAISY’S EYE!’

JMO, but the way to do this is to write the name of the show in white font and advise people to highlight when they want the answer.

I think you have it—Route 66.

I googled “In Praise of Pip” and Route 66 is said to be the first TV show to mention the Viet Nam War.

“Pip” was the first show to have a scene of Viet Nam in it.

Damn, that was fast. Click Although the Pip episode on Twilight Zone might have been first- if they actually mentioned Vietnam

That episode was called: “I am the night, color me black”.

My other guesses would be:

1. My Three Sons
2. Gomer Pyle
3. Lost in Space
