Shes a prisoner in her own home.
Katie Holmes fears she cant take one step without a Scientology goon following her every move in a heavy- handed intimidation attempt, multiple sources close to the actress told The Post yesterday.
The pretty actress last night was holed up in her Chelsea pad terrified that soon-to-be-ex-hubby Tom Cruise might kidnap their little girl, law-enforcement sources said.
Holmes told another building resident of her abduction fear and that neighbor called police on Friday, sources said.
But without Holmes phoning in the report herself and Cruise known to be 2,600 miles away shooting a movie in Iceland police couldnt take any action.
Managers at Holmes plush Seventh Avenue building, though, have been put on alert for Cruise or any strangers who might want to get inside, the sources said.
Holmes, who filed for divorce from superstar Scientologist actor Cruise last week, knew this was coming, sources said.
Katie saw all the pressure. They [Scientologists] are professionals at pressuring people to be quiet, said a friend of the actress after her bombshell divorce filing in Manhattan last week. Thats why she filed for divorce in secret.
A team of beefy armed men parked themselves in a white Cadillac Escalade outside Holmes place all day yesterday, snapping pictures of people outside the building and demanding to know who they were.
Cops finally pulled up in a marked NYPD squad car behind the SUV and checked out its Tennessee license plates. The officers said they were acting on complaints of suspicious activity in a white Escalade but did not elaborate. They spent about 15 minutes eyeing the SUV before leaving. At least two of the five men sitting in the SUV were clearly packing heat.

She is right to be afraid. They have a long history of this sort of thing. Pray for her safety.
I don’t know much about Hell, but I am fairly certain that it has an L. Ron Hubbard wing...
Ah so it was the scientology that made her flee. I hope that she is adequately frightened. These are not nice people and will do everything they can to keep her voice in the off position.
I had a friend that went through this when he left Scientology, as did his mother. They were followed and threatned by the so called church.
She’ll be declared an “SP” (suppressive person) and be “Fair Gamed”. I hope she has good security.

She didn’t think about this before she left Catholicism, and presumably renounced Christ, to marry a cultist nut?
Not much sympathy for her here.
Scientology: Fair Game In Action
That list make s a lot of sense, though I didn’t know about Edgar Winter.
OMG. I thought they had a financial arrangement and that one day he would let her go. He will get visitation one day. How scary for her.
Holmes has a daddy who has his own power and legal expertise which should thwart the usual viciousness of the nuts
it has become fairly obvious that Scientology in Hollywood largely exists to orchestrate cover for big bank queer stars living as straights
i feel sorry for the adopted kids...stuck with Cruise
sick sick sick
my mom...long gone now...her best friend from growing up as we did in Mississippi moved to Dallas and became a very early convert to Scientology...late 1950s...left her husband and young kids...moved to California...when she would visit I remember that freaky stare they do...Hubbard must have really stressed to never break eye contact...and they don't..lol
her daughter went freak too...but not the son...who was a buddy of mine into adulthood
oil and gas man last i heard
Were the guys in the Escalade Scientologists, or a private bodyguard team brought in to protect Holmes? Their actions are more consistant with people watching for Scientologists who might be lurking around.
She can certainly afford such a team. Commentators on the radio this morning were talking about how this might be the end of Scientology, and she’s well positioned to take them down. If the Scientologists are smart they’ll just pay her off and let her take her child and walk away in peace. We’ll see ...
Need help: should I even care?
“I did audit sessions with Tom Cruise from 2001-2004, and I can tell you that I have a friend that has been providing Katie Holmes’ family information for years about the iron grip the Church of Scientology has on Tom Cruise’s family and professional life. This has been going on for at least four years,” Rathbun told Radar Online.”
Bart Simpson a Scientologist doesn’t make much sense.
And Greta. Ive never gotten that.
I was surprised to see Greta Van Botox on the list.
RE: That list make s a lot of sense, though I didnt know about Edgar Winter.
I was surprised to find Greta Van Susteren on the list. I thought she was as smart as she appears on TV. Apparently not.
Kaitie get a: http://ruger.com/products/p345/models.html .45 ACP RULES!
She sure could bring them down. From what I’ve read, Cruise is basically 2nd in charge under Miscavige (the human yardstick).
Lol! What a crock. Her 5 year contract to pretend to be the wife of the very gay Cruise is up. That is all that is happening here. This makes good theatre but that is all it is. The Scientology story is likely driven by someone that has simply made it up. It will have a short life cycle. Probably after Holmes comes out and says there is nothing to the story. Wait for a new “story” soon. Watch for at least one that has some kind of storyline that shows how un-gay and hetro Cruise is. At some point Cruise will be linked to “insert actress name here” and the cycle will start over again. Most of the garbage is driven by people like David Geffen who are the puppet masters of these people that can look at cameras and say things other people write. It’s HOLLYWOOD! Fake! Big money but totally fake.
“followed and threatned”
That only goes on, for as long as you let it.
Not sure I’d ever get into that situation, but I’m pretty sure how I’d get out.
She’ll need one.
Here’s a good list of $cientology related deaths/murders.
Wow, major whack jobs. As bad as jihadists. They really have the look of insanity and hate in their eyes. God help anyone who gets wrapped up in that evil cult.
Another legitimate case of Xenuphobia....
sure makes Catholics feel like coming back to the Church with their innocent children
Looks like Katie Holmes is a little smarter than Kidman and Rogers the previous beards I mean wives. They rolled over and let Tom and his Thetan goons shut them up and take the kids. She got the jump on Tom by hanging onto her child and filing for divorce first and then putting it out in the media. He must be freaking out at this point. I would not be suprised if he did try to kidnap his child from her. If I were Katie Holmes I would 911 Gavin DeBecker for some security.
Scientology tends to hire private investigators, many of whom are retired (or moonlighting) police or federal agents (and who thus retain their right to be armed wherever they please). These PI's also retain friendly contacts on local police forces, which may explain the reluctance of NYPD to get involved. It also allows the PI to be aggressive, while if YOU get aggressive in return you will get in heaps of trouble.
They really have the look of insanity and hate in their eyes.
Almost like they’re dead inside.
“At least two of the five men sitting in the SUV were clearly packing heat”
And the NYPD didn’t seem to care that folks in a car w out of state plates were packin’?
Assuming this is true, and not tin foil paranoia, there are “fixes” for this behavior.
I’m trying to imagine being questioned about who I am and why am I going into that building....by some thug...
I think some Tea Partiers in the LA area should volunteer to be her bodyguards for a while.
It would be a good image builder for the Tea Party.
On what basis do you think she could “bring them down”? I don’t know enough about this to even come up with a concept.
They probably want Suri...
She’ll be surprised to find a Hollywood blacklist after this.
Cruise and Miscavige, who is the head of the cult, are bestest buds. I would think she’s been privy to a lot of information about money laundering, violence against members, etc. (at least that’s my hope)
And her husband, a lawyer, is a member of the cult as well!
So far this list of freaks does not give a endorsement for actors, actresses, musicians or lawyers.
Actually as you scan through the list of people, I have never seen a more freakish, wierd, whacked-out group of names, other than a list of demoRAT or 0dumb0 supporters. This looks like the type of "religion" that 0dumb0 could really "get off" on (in more ways than one).
Well, I’m not Catholic. But my opinion stands. Of course I hope she and her child are safe. But in the end, she must accept responsibility for being stupid enough to marry a cultist in the first place.
:: At least two of the five men sitting in the SUV were clearly packing heat. ::
Isn’t it against child labor laws to employ someone under the age of 14?
“But without Holmes phoning in the report herself and Cruise known to be 2,600 miles away shooting a movie in Iceland police couldnt take any action.”
Shouldn’t the law need something more than a “mother’s fear” to take action? Sounds like she is really trying to use the law in her personal war wiyh her husband. We hear this claim by many mothers in a divorce.
I was surprised to see Greta Van Botox on the list.
Greta Van Stretch-her-skin
Greta Van Dyke we called her back in the OJ days.
Katie, you knew what you were buying into when you married Tom and joined up with the wackos. Sorry, no sympathy for you, only sympathy for your little girl who has idiots for parents.
I don’t see any conservatives in that group. Imagine that.
(cue shoddy imitation of Marlon Brando)
Every time I try to get out..
I don’t blame her. What this “religion” lacks in sanity, it makes up for in profiteering and goonery.
RE: Every time I try to get out...
That would be Al Pacino as Michael Corleone (Godfather III)
