Same story with my dad. He and my mother raised three conservative boys but still voted democrat for years because that’s the union told them to. Even after they retired. I can remember the arguing in the family when none of his boys would vote for Clinton. Having him politically awake the past few years has made family get togethers so much more enjoyable.
Altering a Q&A on AA Sponsorship:

My liberal brother watches Fox more than I do. I’m hoping it will eventually work it’s way through his hatred of conservatives.

I own a Car and a late 80’s Chevy pickup truck.
I almost always drive my car everywhere, to work, to get groceries shopping etc... Because it gets good gas mileage and has air conditioning!
I only drive my truck when I need something moved or am helping friends move something like I did the other day. Because it gets mediocre gas mileage.
I am “Greener” than a DOPE who drives around an SUV all the time like a car and only uses the UV part of it once in a blue moon.
Of course I don’t care if an SUV owner wastes extra gas as it is their money.
Also when my car has broken down a time or two I have “A BACKUP VEHICLE!” Something single SUV owner doesn’t heh!

I’m a carpenter/contractor, so I need a full size pickup truck for business reasons. I work all over the metro DC area. My wife works as well. I drive a 4WD F150 Supercab and my wife drives a Subaru Forester. I asked her how we can own one vehicle when I may have to be 25 miles away by 7:30 AM, and my wife needs to be in her office at 8:30 AM. She said, “You’d figure it out if you had to.”
Yes. Sean took a few minutes away from saying “That’s unbelievable!, that’s beyond the pale, and you’re a great American, as well as plugging his latest book to personally play the Hannitization theme. He is pablum, but she’s not ready for conservative solid food yet.
I challenge all Obama supporters to thoroughly research him, his history, his record, his words and values, and than honestly assess if you can still support him. She did this, but I think that Obamacare is what pushed her over the edge.
I’ve tried to point out the the Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies supported Obama; then they were rewarded with the Health Care bill (yes, for them it is a reward).
All I got back were blank stares.
This is my prayer and my greatest hope for saving of America. I pray that middle-class liberals who work and pay taxes will wake up and come over to the side of freedom and away from socialism.
