Attention all of you who purchased a Windows Phone... You’ve been part of the biggest beta test in the history of mobile phones.

Please go back to the store and demand a real phone.

Windows Phone should be the death of the Blackberry w/email servers. As an MCSE I love the windows interface on my windows 7 phone over Apple, Android and Blackberry. If I have to prolong my contract to upgrade, so be it. The email alone, but together coupled with the O/S and similiar visuals to the computer O/S makes it a winner in my book.

Man, those live tiles must really suck up the juice. Did MS solve the micro fusion power source problem?

Extremely surprised that Microsoft didn’t create some kind of app adaptor.

Maybe private firms will.

My Samsung Galaxy Note (Android) isn’t perfect, but it does everything I want. Family members have iPhone 4 and 4s, and I’ve been using Windows since there was such a thing. For me, Android is an easy pick.

I’ve known for at least a year that this current crop of phones would not be upgradeable. So I bought my Nokia 710 outright, rather than use my upgrade option. It’s not as though Microsoft has been dishonest about it. Both Nokia and Microsoft have both been honest about the Windows 7.5 not really representing what they plan to do with mobile. I will upgrade to 7.8 when it comes out and sometime next year, when I’ve had my phone for a year, I will then jump on Windows 8.

What I hope is that I will be able to download media and save it, so I can use it offline.

WP8 failed because most people want icons with more than 2 colors.
