Video of a remarkable plane.

He came remarkably close to the fence on that landing!
Funny seeing an SR-71 take from grass. 8>)
I couldn’t find it for your post yesterday but here is Ken Block taking Top Gear’s James May for a ride in the airplane graveyard.

There’s a video on YouTube of a jet powered F-14 model. About eight+ feet long I think, painted black. Burns real JP-5 IIRC. Oh, the the variable geometry wings work, as does the landing gear.
Someone put some serious Benjamins into that model.
It’s not a true scale model.
It doesn’t leak. :)
I was into RC aircraft 20 years ago, I still have an unfinished 1/4 scale half finished Byron originals Ryan STA, its a low wing mono with a four cylinder Menasco engine, was a flight trainer for the military.
I have heard this kit is now worth a lot of money.
I saw someone who built a flying model of a B-36 and then about ten years ago was a project to make an RC harrier, complete ducted fan VTOL ability.
Wait till the gubment takes away our right to bear drones

They did ops like that mostly at night, like on the secret mission to Paris in the October Surprise incident. They landed Bush in a pasture on the outskirts of town. Put that baby down like a Piper Cup. Very hush hush spook stuff. Thank God the democrats and Inoye cared enough to investigate it.
Amazed the aerodynamics and control scale that well.
Here is a youtube video of a RC B36
6 turnin’ and 4 burnin’

Same here, it looks, at first glance, to be an almost exact scale replica of the SR-71, I didn't think someting like that would fly at this scale and low velocity. Cool as stink!
Here’s a website of RC scale jet videos including an F-14, F-16, A-10 and F-4.
Cool.

What language are the speaking?
German apparently.
Did you see the video of the scale jet model B52 crashing at its first flight?
No I didn’t. Was it on the same site?
My 1/4 scale Ryan STA is destined to be just a giant scale model, has like a seven foot wingspan. Just a static model, never to fly. I just cannot see spending another $1500 for the radio gear, servos, engine just to watch it crash.
RC boats were my next phase.
Very cool...and the drifting in San Fran was a hoot also!
Thanks.
Any Byron’s kit is worth more than you paid.
I sold my Byron’s F-16 kit, still in box, for $600 last year. Paid less than $200 for it in 1984.
I have some Dodgson glider kits that are worth their weight in gold.
