Actress Doris Singleton, who played Lucy and Ricky Ricardos neighbor on I Love Lucy, has died. She was 92.
SNIP
Singletons character, first called Lillian Appleby and then Caroline Appleby, appeared in 10 episodes. She was Lucys neighbor, the wife of a radio station owner.
She was sort of Lucys nemesis because both had young sons, Singleton said in a 2005 interview for the Archive of American Television of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation. There was a rivalry there but she had to be nice, Lucy had to be nice to Caroline, because her husband owned the radio station.
Singleton also played Margaret Williams on the 1960s sitcom My Three Sons and she appeared on dozens of other TV shows in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, including another Lucille Ball program, Heres Lucy, Perry Mason, All in the Family, and Days of Our Lives.

Remember her well ...As a little kid thought she was hot . R.I.P.
Was she the one who visited Lucy in Hollywood lost her glasses, so Lucy pretended to be various celebrities?
RIP.
Yep.
Seeing her picture at the link, I remember her in that role.
Except for “Little Ricky”, I’d say that wraps up the cast in “I Love Lucy”.
Uh oh, they always go in threes. Andy Griffith, Caroline Appleby ... is Dick Van Dyke or Carl Reiner next?
