i saw this discussed before on a NK leadership watch site, they really aren’t sure whether it is wife or not.
They are really wondering because of one picture where she is given a more privileged position to stand amongst a bunch of top generals, and they don’t know who she is

A post I read earlier this week suggested she was a former pop star that Kim wanted to date years ago but his father forbid it. I think it also said she was married already. I will see if I can find it.

Not sure at this point whether the woman is a former singer or a grad from Kim Il-sung Univ. who he allegedly married in 2010.
