Being a Canadian I take issue with our top ranking. In many provinces, community and native groups can block or delay major mining expansions like the Northern Gateway Pipeline. I would not say Canada is a friendly place to do business.

My take is that the report is probably showing how bad the world has gotten for being unfriendly towards business rather than glowing compliment for Canada’s business climate.
