Funny. Got asked that already and answered. Apparently some can't read my posts in response. I'm asking, DOES it matter? Does it matter what political/philosophical views one has when one commits a particularly heinous crime? If a Muslim kills innocent men, women and children, do we care what his philosophy of life is? I don't know, does it? You can't have your cake and eat it too, can you?

If one has a belief system that says they can come up with their own moral laws and reject those established by God, are the incidences of violence going to increase, or decrease? Well....?

We have no idea what he looks like right now but based on the other, older pictures that have been publicized I don’t think he looks much like the guy in the sex site profile.

So far it doesn’t seem like he had much of a social life at all, gay or straight. I imagine, with no evidence either way right now, that whatever his sexuality, it’s probably not the most important factor in what turned him into mass killer.

I’m pretty sure that paranoid schizophrenia well pre-dates TV and movies and banning such would do nothing to prevent this sort of thing. Paranoid schizophrenics can find, while in their delusional state, motivation in just about anything – some have even found it in the words of the Bible.
