Charley Brown out there on the pitcher’s mound got one knocked past him again. You know, the one where Charlie flips backward, his socks and his cap knocked loose and he looks so surprised that the batter got a good solid hit.
Even Charlie Brown’s dog mocks him. And Lucy, she is merciless.
On an intellectual level, you feel somewhat sorry for Charlie, but he is always going to be - Charlie Brown.
