CHICAGO (CBS) – A mob of more than 20 teenagers descended on a trendy Wicker Park shop on Saturday and made off with more than $3,000 worth of jeans.
CBS 2′s Derrick Blakley reports the incident was caught on store surveillance cameras, and the owner posted the video on YouTube.
Luke Cho said he hopes the images help police find the robbers, or maybe even shame the parents of the teens enough that they’ll turn the kids in.
From the moment the teens started flooding in the door at Mildblend Supply Co. on Milwaukee Avenue around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, Cho knew something wasn’t right.

It’s not funny, but I chuckled at that statement. There is no shame amongst the feral groups in this country.

The city should be on the hook for this. They have accepted the responsibility for this mans safety and the safety of his property by denying him the ability to.
The city has failed in their responsibility.
The delay in police response is a common thread in the “flash mob” epidemic. They just don’t want to confront the problem any more than the media wants to recognize it. If they had made arrests they would have to answer for claims of brutality and maybe start a bigger riot. Better to have the merchant take all the risks and loss. He’s a bloody capitalist anyhow.

I don’t know what else you expect them to do? In all fairness, it’s the end of the month and the EBT cards don’t get recharged until the 1st of the month.
