A woman narrowly missed being hit by a huge rock which fell from a cliff and completely wrecked the car she had just got out of. German police said she cheated death by a couple of steps.
“Thankfully we are just talking about the destruction of a car. The woman had just parked it and got out when the rock fell. She heard a noise and in the next moment the rock landed on her car. It was a big chunk, weighing hundreds of kilos, if not a tonne,” police spokesman Mirko Steffl told The Local.
The Freiburg police, responsible for Breisach am Rhein in the Black Forest where the incident happened, have released terrifying photographs of the car showing the enormous rock which smashed through the roof and windscreen and landed on the driver’s seat. No-one sitting in that seat could have survived.
The woman who had parked her VW Lupo on Tuesday and taken a couple of steps away before seeing it squashed by a rock, was slightly hurt by flying debris, but was otherwise unharmed.
Two other cars were slightly damaged by the Lupo as it was shoved forwards by the impact.
“The woman certainly had a bit of a shock, but was lucky to only have lost her car, not her life,” said Steffl.
Emergency services closed off the road, which Steffl said had a number of parking bays, while engineers examined the cliff.
Nice try, but according to the movie “Final Destination” she’s in trouble.

Years ago a boulder on Berthed Pass ( on the way to Winter Park , Co. ) fell on a bus load of German tourist . Killed a lot of them .
I think when we last visited a Unified German State back in the late 1920s they were into this business of killing the elderly and feeble, and handicapped, and then some time in the 1930s they just went nuts and started killing anybody who didn't quite fit what they believed to be correct social parameters.
I'd say it's time to get ready for WWIII~ this time we will need to make sure this idea doesn't come back ~
